I was thinking a good addition to this forum would be an area (not sure if that is the correct technical term but a section like, "Non Z Related General Discussion" or "300ZX Help and Advice) where people could post up good driving road they have been on. I guess it would be similar to the "Was it you?" section where individual posts most of the time of the road and place in the country it is and what is good about and what is bad about it (speed cameras, traffic jams, blind corners or dips). I dont travel around the country that much but when i do i get bored of motorways where you are stuck behind ignorant people sitting in the outside lane not overtaking anyone wh…

For anyone interested : Well what a day it was . Mapped the car on the Rolling road and had some major fuelling probs which are Finally sorted. At the time it couldnt fuel at top end at all and pressure kept dropping off. So will be finishing the mapping over the next few weeks. Still made 452.4whp and 562FHP and made 430 odd FT/ LBS all on tesco 99 but there was so much left in her and the cams wernt even touched. Still I never expected it to all be plain sailing.

Looks like you will have to pay to go in/out of Manchester in your car soon. must admit though, manchester has a good public transport system, and the parking in manchester city is controlled by NCP, and its criminal what they charge. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/6918036.stm

An interesting Idea for those worried with energy consumption When your screen is white, being it an empty word page, or the Google page, your computer consumes 74 watts, and when its black it consumes only 59 watts. Mark Ontkush wrote an article about the energy saving that would be achieved if Google had a black screen, taking in account the huge number of page views, according to his calculations, 750 mega watts/hour per year would be saved. In a response to this article Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but with a lower energy consumption, check it out. ht…

I think I'm going mad. Just spent half an hour getting a whole fistful of code together with the help of Realeditor. Unfortunately their option to save directly to your Myspace page is playing up so need to copy the code in by hand. However...with a Myspace music page there's no "About Me" section to paste it to. There are lots of sections to put different details in but I've tried pasting the code into each one with no joy. Can anyone help a Luddite out and point me in the right direction? Failing that, an online editor that will update my site with the code automatically? Cheers, Leigh

The reason I ask is that our work support forums are often quite slow and I've been told it's an inherent problem with phpBB, but I thought 300zx.co.uk, which has 10 - 20 times as many active users at any one time, also ran on phpBB, and yet it never seems slow... and that's with people having massive signature pics and all the rest of it. So, is it phpBB, vBulletin, or something else? And what kind of hardware/OS combination is it run on? Sorry for the extremely nerdy questions, I'm just after some ammo to get our own forums sorted out because they're just a bit embarrassing sometimes. Thanks, Bart

Anyone watching this? Thought it was going to be shite, but really enjoying it. Just HOPE it doesn't turn into the epic tedium that 'Lost' turned into.....I fear it may do. So will probably be saying it's shite in 6 months time after the umpteenth million boring episode! LOL

It's my birthday next week and my wife has asked me what do I want? I have always been rubbish at deciding on gifts. Without using the word 300zx (Heidi wont buy me a car!) - can you think of a good gift suggestion?

So, dilemma. I'm in Ottawa, Canada at the moment on business and tonight I met this waitress in a steakhouse. She seemed really nice :hyper: . There's a reasonable chance I might be back here in the next two or three months. Do I go back there for lunch tomorrow before I fly home and ask her for her number (which I should have done when I was speaking to her tonight :headvswal ), or should I leave it be? Help! Sy.
