Thinking of getting myself one, quite like the look of the Yamaha Raptor 700R, the unfortunate thing is I cant afford it, so im looking at an older one, possibly a Raptor 660. Anyone got any constructive advise? Thinking of using it on and off road, so I think it would be a good piece of kit.

As above. I've just spent the afternoon getting my spare rims put together, drilling the valve holes because the screw valves were missing and getting rubber ones put in, then had tyres put onto them. A right **** around but thought thats good they're done now. I decided I'd better make sure the offset etc was ok so went to stick them on the car and the gaps are not big enough to fit a socket to do up normal wheel nuts. The biggest socket that will fit is an 18, and I havn't got any wheel nuts that small. Does anyone know if you can buy them that small or are they Rays specific or something gay like that. P*ssed! I've got to leave early in the morning for Santa Pod.

Hi Everyone, First of all I would like to say thankyou to all that have voted for us. We have just had a call this morning from the radio station confirming that Donna and I have made it to the final please see link: http://www.mercuryfm.co.uk/Article.asp?id=433449&spid=17648 I have to get as far away as possible in 24 hours with just £10, the one who gets the furthest away will win the wedding. My job is to work out the best route and work on my blagging skills, just wish I could take my Zed but £10.00 petrol in my Zed wont get me far lol. Matt

Anyone into their classics? I need to find somewhere that can rebuild a car seat - i.e. remove covering, re-spring, re-weld etc etc... I'm assuming that there are companies that do it for classic cars, but can't turn anything up! Other than that, reckon it's possible to DIY? it's not for the zed btw!! Rich

I just got informed by BUPA that my opperation on my shoulder has cost £3400 of which my insurance only covered £800. Now I aint working as my shoulder is out of action and I have exactly no where near that in any of my bank acounts and its due to be paid befor I go see the consultant next wednesday. Needless to say the phone call I just had with tehm revolved around them going swinging as they approved the bloody Opp. Although it does clearly state that cost up to and above X amount over a 12 month period would not be covered if treatment exceeded £10K in that period. So far im over £14K. Guess thats me buggered for teh next 3 months then. Incidently …

Enjoy!! "I'm sorry, but having a DB9 on the drive and not driving it is a bit like having Keira Knightley in your bed and sleeping on the couch. If you've got even half a scrotum it's not going to happen." "We start tonight with the highlight of my childhood. It's the Ladybird Book of Motorcars from 1963, and as you would imagine it's full of rubbish really. Just endless boring grey shapes, until you get to page 40, where you find the Maserati 3500 GT. Now this for me, when I was little, was like kind of Jordan and Cameron Diaz. In a bath together. With a Lightning jet fighter. And lots of jelly." "[about Porsche Cayman S] There are many things I'd rat…

I am attending a stag do in Norfolk in four weeks and wondered if there's anyone down there that knows what there is to do? Booze is on the menu and also shooting, but the cousins booked twelve of us in for a week at Ferry Marina at Horning, and it sounds like I will need the sailing dingy gear and pipe. Any ideas??????????????? :duffer: :duffer:

Just back from the studio. Absolutely shattered but pleased as the first 5 songs songs have had their final tweaking ready to be played over the PA at a battle of the bands comp in Wolves this Friday night that my Producer is sponsoring (it's for 16-25 year olds which unfortunately rules me out from playing live!). Just uploaded a new track to my Kyoto Underground MySpace page, called "The Last Day", http://www.myspace.com/kyotounderground Have a listen if you get chance...oh, and yes...the intro really is THAT long ;) :)

Did anyone watch the qualifying of the Hungarian Grand Prix? IMHO, that pitlane holdup was totally to stop Hamilton getting another lap in. What makes it worse is that Alonzo managed to take poll from Lewis on that final run!
