Can you cry under water? How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered? If money doesn't grow on trees then why do banks have branches? Since bread is square, then why is sandwich meat round? Why do you have to "put your two cents in" but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to? Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity? Why does a round pizza come in a square box? What disease did cured ham actually have? How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to pu…

I found these photos on a website in Germany and felt very sad. Surely some of these could be restored back to something special.

A New York man retired. He wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal. The modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 yrs.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs. The house was sold to pay taxes. There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place. The NY guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the…

Remember ladies, the best way to attract a man is with your eyes. That's why it's so important to have your eye makeup perfectly applied. If it weren't for the excellent application of proper eye makeup this young lady probably wouldn't get a second look from most guys. :)

My letter of complaint, total bunch of asswipes. I cannot begin to put into words the absolute contempt I have for your customer service at this present time. Over the past 2 months I have experienced a level of incompetence that is astonishing. I can understand that things break and need fixing, but what I have had to endure is beyond belief. So this is a list of recent issues I have had to experience and all the while, phone, TV and internet have all had issues. Supplying me with a service, I think not,. I am self employed and when I don’t work there is no income, so when I stay at home for these issues to be fixed it’s not just booking a half day off work, it’s th…

Been on atkins diet to lose a few pounds for centre parcs as my mrs keeps saying "suck it in"! started a week ago and lost nearly a stone allready. one small snag...... me having a wandering mind was weighing myself last night and tried to make myself heavier ( being a kid as usual) for my own fun. :) ANyway it got to the point where i was doing a jumping motion without actually jumping to get my weight to the top of the scales.......... PING...... the scales get stuck on 24 stone and ceases to move. My wife heard the noise and said "whats going on" i said nothing and while sniggering to myself i realised that i was such an idiot for breaking it afte…

How accurate are they really? i know they say more than 99% correct but just wondered. for instance (hypatheticaly of course ;) ) if a girl i was seeing is late by nearly a week and takes a clear blue test this morning and its negative then thats pretty accurate right??? Cause hypetheticaly i could have been climbing the walls for the last 48 hours since i was told she was late, and would like piece of mind.....

I like it and it looks like they're fixed most of the memory leaks. Shame very few of the add-ons work for it yet, but I'm sure they will soon. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Free car to collect: Nissan QX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yep, 1 dark green, 1995 Nissan QX Maxima available to whomever wants to collect it. Manual 2.0 litre V6 saloon. 160,000 miles (ish), Good condition, but has a couple of issues that someone who knows/cares more than me about cars will most likely be able to fix quickly: I think the alternator belt is slipping - when hot the car seems to lose some electrical abilities (since it's fully loaded with electric everything this is more noticable than it would otherwise be). Also the boot gets rather damp in wet weather - not sure why. Brake pads rep…
