I know alot of you are bikers sooooooo, I had a bad off on this bike 5 years ago now. It went down the road and up a kirb. Apparently the engine was running and it got switched off but he timing case was broken. I want to see if the engine is dead or if i can get it running. Its been sat in my garage and hasn't moved for 5 years. What is the sensor that is broken off? Does it send a spark to the plugs? In that case the engine may be ok? i.e the timing never went out and popped a valve into a piston. The other worry is that the engine was running without oil. However i can push the bike in gear so the engine isn't seezed. So my questions are: Can…

Hello all, since I gave up trying to find an affordable good-quality Z (missed at least 3 on here due to a holiday, d'oh) bought a 1997 Subaru legacy RS. I like it. just wondered if anyone else has owned/ come across them & what you all think? PS it's a twin-turbo big impreza with a half-decent interior for those who don't know what it is. and it's a saloon, not a fan of estates!!! PPS I hope to be selling it next year and buying another Z...but more time I spend with it, more I'm getting used to it & more tempting it is to blow savings on taking it from 280bhp to 400 etc etc!!! :D

For this Orange Act unsigned thing that we've entered you have to choose 3 songs to upload to your page on their site. When entries close on the 31st the page is frozen and you can't change anything. So, I'm sitting here humming and ha-ing over which three tracks to include. And I thought, "why not ask the people that matter, the listeners?" :) If you've got time to go on my MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/thisburningage , listen to the 10 tracks and then vote for your top 3 on here that would be great. TBH, it's something I need to sort out regardless as it's a general rule of "3" when it comes to submitting your stuff to record companies/radio stati…

I have just put some alloys on my galaxy, they are of an audi a4 ( I have checked they are exactly the same offset etc) I had to take a wheel off today and when I did I notice that there is a shiny ring around the bolt indicated in red on the pic below, as if the aren't sitting right into the dished bits around the holes in the alloy. Is this a problem? Do they just need to settle in to the different bolts? Advice needed asap please. I have been driving around with them for a week or so and there does seem to be any problems just wanted 2nd 3rd 4th etc opinions Cheers in advance Mick

My band and I have entered this years Orange Act Unsigned...essentially a chance to get our mugs on the telly box, play in front of a screaming crowd of moistened teenagers and hopefully win. And get offered a shiny new record contract. By a man in a suit (living the dream baby!). So...we REALLY need your support. Members on here, friends, husbands, wives, aunties, uncles, lovers, pets, Thai mail-order brides, random people you've dragged off the street...EVERYONE. The "official line" is that 25 bands are selected by voting that starts on September 1st (closing on the 14th). And this is MAJORLY important, don't get me wrong. We really want to see those fing…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7588032.stm CCTV captured the moment a driver smashed through a supermarket window after losing control when reversing out of a parking space. The man, in his 60s, was driving a Kia which careered into the supermarket and came to a stop in the middle of the shop floor. No one was injured in the incident at Premier supermarket in Huntingdon.

I have a calendar on my desk, and every day it has survival tips for various things… today’s might come handy to you lot lol How to survive if your car careens down a mountainside 1.Apply firm and steady breaking pressure 2.Maintain a firm grip on the steering wheel – with your hands at ten and two O clock keep your thumbs outside the steering wheel 3. Steer the car downhill 4. Downshift after regaining control to slow your momentum 5. Turn the wheel in the same direction the car is sliding 6. Use steady braking pressure to stop the car 7. If your braking does not stop the car, aim the centre of your car over a large rock or fa…
