Ok, I kow very little about the black things on each corner, my Laguna needs new tyres, as standard it takes 225 45 17, I have been offered some 235 45 17 tyres at a very good price, can these be fitted? Am I right in saying the only difference is they are 10mm wider, and the profile wil be slightly out because of this? all advice gratefully received :duffer:

Do we have any PCSO's on here? I am not speaking for the whole country here, or saying that it applies to ALL PCSO's, but they are over paid useless drains on tax payers money. I work closely with PCSO's and 90% of them are bone idle, and spend there shifts sat in an office supping coffee, or riding around in a Van, instead of getting out and about on foot, and getting to know the local groups of teens, and forming bonds with Shops/bars/schools etc etc, like they are supposed to. they get paid 24k a year for the job, so they should be made to earn it. also around here, there are never any PCSO's on duty on an evening or weekend??? Whilst we are all 'Z' enthusiasts, I guess the majority of us are also petrolheads in a much wider sense, whether motorbikes, quads, F1, touring cars, americana, classics etc etc. Is there any support on here to introduce a new section devoted to informing us all of up-coming shows that might be of interest to other forum users? Events could be from local shows, small museums with limited opening days, to major events such as JAE or the events held at places like Tatton Park where there are several marque-specific events as well as 'classic shows'. The reason I am suggesting this is because it's annoying to find out after the event! Over to you.

i ain't a genius at this kinda stuff so i dunno if the modem i bought is naff or i need to do something? i have tried googling but just havent got anywhere. basically, i have broadband with NTL. I have a motorolyy ta surfboard modem which they provided me with which is used on my PC downstairs. That works fine (most of the time lol) if i take this upstairs to my room, it works fine on my laptop. coz i do have a NTL connection in my bedroom (as i have a cable box there) so I thought I would by one from ebay and use in my bedroom just so I can have internet on me lappy too.. But the problem is the NEW motorola modem (same) doesnt work up or downstairs but …

Dont have Windows Movie Maker on my PC. Dont know why as it should be there, but it aint. If I am wrong, please correct me, but its no longer available ? Windows Live is the equivalant I think, but only works with Vista. I am still on XP, Service Pack 3 installed. I cannot find a free Download for Windows Movie Maker 2.1 or thereabouts ?? Various sites saying they can, but when you click to download it, it keeps taking you back to Microsoft Update ?? My pal has a saxo vtr and i have just found a guy on ebay who will sell me what he needs; new dipstick and a passenger side grab handle. Thing is, his saxo vtr is a v reg mk1 and my pals is a 51plate mk2. Will these still fit?

Entitled Magnificent Machines, incorparates everything with an engine, from cars, bikes, aircraft, traction engines etc, etc. Loads of stuff to see as its not just a car show, as you have four aircraft hangars to browse throo as well. Had a good turn out from the Jap guys this year, mainly Subaru and Honda with a few Mitsi GTO`S etc. A Zed appearance next year would go down really well I reckon !!
