New game if anyone feels like playing.....write three things about yourself and everyone has to guess which one is the lie, the other two MUST be true! You can do it as simple, silly or as complicated as you like!! Guess I will go first then!! you can guess and add your own at the same time to keep the thread running quickly (just say who your guess is aimed at). Mine. 1. I appeared in an episode of 'Only fools and horses' 2. My dads claim to fame is that he was once handcuffed to Peter Sutcliffe, the yorkshire ripper 3. I was part of the world record attempt for eating sweetcorn of a toothpick Lets see what else we can discover

Got a question about a document that I've attached. If you look on page 3 & 6, to the right of the page is square boxes but there are gaps where there are no lines, how do you add them in? Cheers Vijay

I was sat having my tea last night while watching the BBC news and the top story was about Tiger Woods and his televised apology. TOP STORY!!!!!! WTF? Top story that was sooooo important that it placed a story about a young boy, killed by his own brother, further down the schedule! Just because he's a famous golfer who's been shagging around. Now I'll admit he's a very good golfer, and he shouldn't of cheated on his wife, but FFS who really cares that much? What is our world coming to when it's seen as far more important to talk about someone's infidelity than the murder of an innocent boy? I'm utterly disgusted!

I'm after a little bit of advice. I've recently bought my first SLR, a Nikon D50, and often go to trackdays at knockhill and local rally stages. The only problem I have is the lense aint upto much which came with it. Im looking to get another lense specifically for motorsport. Anyone got any ideas?

i ve been offered a gto for a great price. The problem is that the autobox will only drive down the road till it warms up then disengage and just revs, then it has to be left to cool before it will hold gear again, is the gearbox shoot or could it just be eletrical. Also could the box be swapped without removing the engine?

as above anybody had one? One caught my eye and I'm not a big fan of the looks but its just as a daily driver for work, thought it would probably be a cheap run around and hopefully not too slow to drive me mad. Just looking for your experience with owning one and perhaps some things to look out for when checking it out. The guy has already told me the rear bushes need done buts that's all.

Anyone had any dealings with these parasites? (And please note I may have to move this to "members only" depending on the replies.....!) At work on Friday I had a phone call from one of their "representatives" asking me a couple of questions about my company. First one was do I play any music at work - CDs radios etc etc; to which the answer is a definite "no!" Now I am fully aware who they are, from my days as an accountant when I had a couple of pubs/clubs as clients. The PRS charges an annual fee for a licence to play music to the public and passes royalties on to the relevant artistes on their books. Although I do feel that charging for listening to the…

And judging by the need to fit an override system in case the driver hits both the accelerator pedal and the brake at the same time, shows that peoples ability to drive is slowly diminishing. 10…

I recently upgraded my broadband with Orange from 8meg to 20meg. My application went through easily enough, and then I noticed my line speed dropped dramatically to less than 1meg. I was told to expect this during the upgrade so I put up with it quite happily. Unfortunately it stayed like that for over a month and after nearly 10 calls to their customer service, I am now getting just under 2meg. I've been told that the new Dynamic Line Management system that is used for superfast broadband lines talks to your router each night, and if the router doesn't respond (i.e. it's been switched off for the night) then your profile drops and you get a slower speed. Custom…

...a friend of mine is looking to downgrade her Hyundai Coupe. She is doing far too much business travelling and only allowed to claim 16p per mile. She is looking for a small/medium diesel hatch with good MPG, but still has a bit of poke about it. Preferably between new and 3 years old. Any suggestions anyone?
