I've never had a boost controller before, but looking at getting one. Yes I know HKS apexi etc are the best but this one is a fair bit cheaper. Please can you let me know if it seems like a good purchase? does to me lol. :flowers: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HDi-full-electronic-boost-controller-SBC-D-EVO-UK-SPL_W0QQitemZ230444161656QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a78ada78

Just a word of warning if any of you are looking for camera equipment. If you do a Google shopping search for your item, this bunch of jokers often come up as the cheapest. Whatever you do don't buy from them. They are a bunch of con artists who do not deliver but take your cash straight away. See this review: http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews236595.html There are plenty more just Google crazy cameras review. I have had to go to my credit card company to get the money back. I hate firms like this, they are a .uk but based in USA and they have every excuse to prevent you cancelling the order. Finally, they just ignore you. Don't use them!. …

Hi all, Whilst I have hands free phone operation in my daily drive, I don't have it in the ZX. So I was thinking about a CD head unit with built in Bluetooth - anyone have any experience of using one? As I already have a JVC head unit & CD changer, I thought this would be the easiest option; as I don't have to upgrade my boot mounted 'changer... http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jvc-kd-r801.html It doesn't look bad for £140 - plus it looks like it doesn't need any extra kit for hands free phone use, like some other units do. What do you reckon? Richard:cool2:

Had some checks done on my 106 alternator and for live leaks while car was having blower motor checked out. Alt ok and no live leaks on the car. The battery shows a green light saying charged after being on a run for half an hour but it was quite flat beforehand. It did this the other day, went flat and was fully charged in 2 hours. Does this seem too short a time to charge or can the battery still be faulty even though it's saying it's fully charged? cheers for any help

when i have a shower and it's nice and hot, soapy, etc. i don't just turn it off as this will not let me have the 10 secs worth of warm water that's inside somewhere, so i turn it to 'low' hence giving me this water until it goes too cold that i cannot bear it, this is when i turn it off!!! well i have paid for it so i am gonna have it!!! :cool3: as everybody does don't they, i shake and shake to get every bit out of the petrol pump trigger, don't want any going on the floor or any staying in the filler!!! wife throws 'empty' toothpaste tubes away much sooner than me, if it was down to me i would keep them at least another week, squeezing up with great …

Filled her up and off we went. From Carlisle up into Dumfries & Galloway. Faultless drive, almost deserted roads and every car we were behind either pulled out of the TVR lane or there was a good clean overtake. Little kids pointed and waved, teenage yobbos shouted "cool car mate" and old people gave the thumbs up. Makes every hiccup worthwhile. Such an amazing car and it is such a buzz being able to plant the loud pedal firmly down on some great roads. Some pics, not the best as were taken on phone in bad light.

Hi Bud, I went to my mates today and took some pics of the chainsaws he has, At the moment he only has 2 cheapish ones, all the rest are big proffesional jobbies, more for tree felling in the woods, but here are the 2 small basic ones he has. The small sthil one is £100 and the Husqvarna is £140. Not dead cheap but reasonable i thought, if your interested send me a PM and i will give you his mobile and you can chat with him, I know he will drop a little on price if you ask ;) I bought the slightly larger Sthil one 4 years ago from him for £120 and its never missed a beat, i use mine all the time. I`ve seen them a lot cheaper on fleabay. No worries at all if yo…

Hi people, Ok.... my son wants facebook, the majority of his friends have it, and he keeps asking me to get signed up. But..... he is 10yrs old. His friends parents have faked the age to sign them up. Talk about peer pressure, and i am the parent!!! What do you all think? Do you have kids that are on facebook at this age? My wife and i are in 2 minds, we want to let our son be responsible, but at the same time, we want to ensure his safety. Al. (and wife)

Well the big day came for my mate today and he was shitting himself. 4 months ago we head off to Newcastle(ish) to pick up his E55 AMG, 5.7 supercharged Merc, awesome machine. we went to collect in his uncles E55 Chipped diesel merc and he bought the car and i drove the diesel merc back, my mate was driving like a woman in his new car, I`m up his arse egging him on to boot it, but he didnt, just drove slow and girly(understandably after just splashing out 16 grand!!) So after severeal attempts of getting him to rag it, he gave in, 17miles from home we both came to the lights and he floored it, he got to 63 in an instant and guess what?? yes a copper with a speed…

Hi guys, Need your help/advice on a matter concerning my wife's Micra, one of my Z's siblings. As you can see from the photos, there is a patch on the roof of the car which has been slowly growing over the last few months. Effectively, it looks like the lacquer is gradually peeling away, revealing the base paint underneath. What I would really like to know is why this is happening, and how it can be stopped, and then dealt with. The strange this is that the rest of the car is in mint condition and looks virtually brand-new (as you can see from the other photos). Any ideas?
