  2. Gotta be something practical. The Z is my impractical partner. I know it's a long way off, but trying also to think of anything semi-interesting that's coming onto the market. I like the new Lancer (not evo). Very cheap and very highly spec'd. I hate SUVs, but also glanced at the Qashqai. Not really my thing, but a fully spec'd up one might be quite cool. Nothing really on the Euro market that really excites me. There's a new Golf coming out at the end of the year 'yawn'. Focus...well, it's a Ford and whilst they are good, they don't really do anything for me. The Mondeo is too big really....but saying that, I like the new C5 from Citroen....I know, I know.…

Holy cows have you tried drinking that stuff.... absolutely unusal and very very nice. Well worth a try, its not my typical kind of thing but like a flavour explosion right off the bat. :gunsmilie: here is a review, I think it must be a birds drink as I stole a glass from the mrs, but seriously try it. http://www.ciao.co.uk/Sourz_Sour_Apple__Review_5228318

I`ve just got back from nearly a week in the Lake District, Langdale to be exact and the weather couldn`t have been better, cold frosty mornings and blue sky all day, and the roads were empty :w00t:, I`ve done about 300 miles and loved every minute, got the lid off most days and blew the cobwebs from the vert, stunning scenery and great fast mountain roads! If your looking at staying in the Lakes, I can highly reccommend, The Langdale Estate!! It`s absolutley mint, right on a fast flowing stream with hotel and spa facilties and great food, 8 of us stayed in Beckside east self catering appartment, all the entertainment system was Bang&Olufsen, with plasma`s everyw…

Well it was lovely weather today, the mrs was out for the day with her friends so what better to do than spend the day on the driveway LOL :punk: Most spare time I get usually goes on the Z in one form or another, but I devoted a good chunk of today to my daily driver. Alfa 156 2.0 Veloce, I love it and its uber reliable, but its just a case of get in and drive. So today I treated it to a wash then some ultra deep shine autoglym polish all over. I then thought I'd fit the splitter I had kicking around in the garage - half hour later it was fitted perfectly and I think it looks a lot better, such a simple modification! Also treated the grille to some satin black …

Heading out in the daily driver today I noticed a strange rattling noise. Pulling into a layby and checking under the car fully expecting to find a loose heat shield or similar. I found this! Was booting it down from Glen Shee yesterday ..eeeek....

Is it just me thats strange ? Or does a weekday off work seem like a sin ? Wife had all this week off work as she had days that had to be used before March. I slipped in a wee sneaky one today and we went for a drive !:cowboy: Tanked up the Ram and offski ! Headed upwards to Callendar and turned left at Kilmahog. Stopped off at Loch Venachar and it was frozen a good 200 yards from the shore ! Headed up the hills, through Brig`O`Turk and had some great views over Loch Achray. Still snow up there, kinda slippy in places !! Even over 300 horses, you still gotta be carefull ! Down into Aberfoyle and then ont…

I have replaced the fluid but its still the same. And the reason im putting this in here is because this forum seems to be the only place i can get a straight answer. (Usually)

Yes, honestly! I had an enjoyable trip to Halfrauds tonight. Needed a new battery and a rear wiper blade for my girlfriends saxo. So i trotted upto my "local" store (30 miles away!) in my overalls and dirty, oily fleece. Strolled into the shop and the first thing the guy at the desk asked was "Do you have a traders card?" I hadn't even asked for anything yet! I replied that i didnt and he looked a bit bemused. He asked what i worked as and when i explained what i do, he said if i could prove it, I would be entitled to a Trader's Card. Well, long story short, They gave me a traders card and this is where i was shocked. They gave a Bosch Battery…

Lotus are to return to Formula 1 for the first time since 1994 after being granted the 13th slot on the grid from next season. They will line up as one of four new teams for 2010 - alongside Campos Grand Prix, Manor and US F1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8256295.stm It'll be great to see one of the best F1 teams ever returning. Shame they can't have the JPS sponsors too though.
