General Discussions - Non 300ZX

My Wife has a Focus ST3 at the moment, it is a great car and she has had it for nearly two years. She got it on Ford options that means that she has to give it back or part exchange it for a new car. She has a few grand equity in it and pays £300 per month for it, they cant renew it for another year so she either needs to pay the 11K baloon or get a new car. I took her to look at the new RS focus, she liked it but they want another 6K in plus her old car and £450 a month!!. looking at posts for this as i wish to get some cheapies in and work on them part time and break the occasional zed. looking at DNA motor trade it says when was your company registered..... considering my idea is just hit i can only really say now... even then i have no proof. what are the requirements for trade insurance before i delve any deeper... also what is an average indemnity that i should request? really i am doing this just so i buy a cheapy car and tidy up/repair (mainly external stuff and small) and sell so that i can warrant having trade insurance any ideas or advice on how i go about on doing this?

Has anyone seen that email that is going around asking people not to buy petrol from BP as then if everyone does that they will reduce their price and hence others will follow? Could it work? We wont know unless we try but I guess that is the step most people stop at. ie Thinking about it. Plus if there is not another garage for miles away thats hardly easy to manage for some people. I dont think its fair either that people in rural areas pay more for their petrol I have noticed quite a big difference and I dont buy all the arguments about increased costs to get the fuel to rural locations when we are talking about multi billion global companies doing business here…

Just got back from my lock up after a nice Sunday morning phone call at 7am from the gardner at where my lock up is!! Are there any other ways of putting a fresh copy of XP on a laptop. When I go through F8 I dont get the choice to boot from CD, when I go into the acer menu (F2) and boot from the cd, it starts to load then I get blue screen. Cheers John

just moved house this last week, and last night at just after 10pm an almighty racket shook the house set the dogs off and woke all the kids :censored: my (as yet) un-met neighbour was being picked up in a massive chinook helicopter from the field directly behind mine, the thing buzzed over the house at least 3 times i'm guessing he's some sort of high ranking military guy now :2guns:....this was anti-social on an epic scale...lets hope he doesnt commute to work that way every week :death: anyone else got noisy neighbours?

will be starting my journal. what is the best format to write it in? should i write all the things i want to do to it (not that i know yet) or should i just write and photograpgh things as i go along? looking at others they seem nice and tidy :) what is the best resolution for the pictures? i dont want them to flood the screen as they ar 12mp and am thinking out using settings to get it down to an appropriate size. cheers all you crazy zed lubbers!
