after spending 2 days in St Ives and the surrounding area and driving a total of 820 miles i take my hat off to anyone who drives up and down the country for a job:bow:..complete bleeding nightmare of epic proportions:thumbdown: from chester area down the M6 then onto toll road followed by a good dose of M42-M5 i could not relax untill the A30 into cornwall =8 hours then coming back yesterday friday rush manic traffic it took over 9 hours:eek: next time i go on a road trip ime driving through the night to avoid stupidily over conjested roads..

Hi Guys Went to see my local car spares shop, and we were talking about spot welding, anyway it then transpired that all repairs where a part that was spot welded on and removed , must be welded continuously along its seams, ie you cant spot weld it back on. Has anyone come across this at all Cheers Richard

had a bit of fun in my sons car at bhp show, difficult to drive quickly in a drift car with a welded diff but was plenty of fun. only 160bhp so was underpowered compared to the other cars as i went out in the intermediate sessions. was really supprised at how unblelievably grippy the track was in the dry but still managed to clip a metal barrier, my son wasnt happy but its only a dent/scratch/scrape :lol: so all is good. enjoy :)

I am going out to meet my girlfriends mum in Ohio at the end of July and she has paid for my ticket in dollars which i need to give back to her when i go out there. So basically my question is this, who is good with a crystal ball??? I have to give her $1000 which at today's rate is roughly £650, obviously if the exchange rate goes better i could save myself some wonga, however if it goes the other way it'll cost me even more! Sooooo glad to see friday for the past 3 weeks I have been coming home from work then going to my father in laws house (who died at Christmas) to clear it to get it ready for sale, what a job:no:you are dealing with another persons life collection of mostly junk and its hard to throw so many things out and I am so tired each night. Hi people, When you paste and copy a link, how do you change the pasted link name. For example, i want to put a link to my ride section below my signature, but want to change it from the original link name, to something like "my 300zx". Many thanks, Al. :helpsmilie:

All you've proven, is your inability to discuss things rationally. Your closing the initial thread leaving it on a "my point wins" tone is "taking your ball home". And even if we were "going round in circles" (which we weren't since I raised points that you declined to answer because you knew you were losing the argument), that doesn't automatically give you the right to close a thread that is not, by any stretch of the imagination, anything more than reasoned debate.
