Never done any welding and know nothing about them. Couple of jobs I need to do 1. rusty sills need to replace 2. need to fit wide arches, cut arches and weld back up. I gather theres two types of welders, mig and arc. Although arc ones seem alot cheaper. Anyone recommend a cheap and cheerful one suitable for my needs. Maybe something from machinemart. Thanks.

Yesterday my parts cleaner was getting a bit low on engine degreaser, so I topped it up with some more out of a tub I had lying around. Went to use the cleaner today and it wouldn't work, it also reeked of solvents. Opened it up and this was what I found (once i'd drained it):scared: Turns out, my dad had used the tub to store some acetone in it and had forgot to write on it :oops: Need to get a new pump now as this one looks like a runny dog poo :blush:

I've decided to buy myself a Blu Ray player, so was looking through all the options and whether I could justify spending the money. Anyway I decided to buy a drive for the PC, as I have an HDMI hook up to the TV so can watch movies on the big screen. I also decided to go for a combined Blu Ray / HD DVD drive as you can often pick up cheap HD DVD's and you're getting the same quality. Then in the end I succumbed to a Blu Ray reader/writer with HD DVD read facility, which I consider the best of all worlds. So it's all hooked up with full 1080P HD to the TV and I'm impressed so far. I've managed to obtain a few discs of my fave films so far. I've got hold of Blade Run…

Right, trying to book something in to send, been trying since saturday, i click on the item i want to send, fill in the collection details, and the delivery details. then head to the paying section. i put in my card details, then when i click the payment i get the bank security box up. i fill that out and click the continue button, only for it to sit there thinking for a while and then refuse it based on non payment. typical council wanted us to pull this ceiling down and floor up as the ceiling needs to be fireboarded and the floor could be hazardous if wet they were told where to go this is the house, i repaired and renewed all the wood on the front back of the house a doorway that was added in the 70's, im in the process of removing these are all the hallway pics, the floor and ceiling they wanted removing

im sitting at home after my little baby was born yesterday at just 29 weeks old by c setion now she is in intensive care and hooked up to a machine, i wonder what all the fuss that ive made about stuff over the years is all about i just want a well baby and my wife home

I was at work yesterday - manic as usual. Grabbed a coffee & went out the back for a quick break from it all & started to text my girlfriend.
