My dad has asked me to try and find a storage tank of some description. I'm a little stuck as to finding something suitable so I wondered if anyone has any ideas? Basically we want something to be horizontally mounted, cylindrical with rounded ends preferable but that isnt the end of the world. Dimensions of aproximatly 900mm long by 500mm wide is what we are looking for. Its not got to hold any pressure just water/weedkiller solution. I have tried looking for compressor tanks, lpg tanks and water tanks but cant seem to find much suitable!

First of all, my PC screen goes off randomly sometimes after 10 minutes sometimes after half an hour. It flashes up on the screen saying 'NO SIGNAL' before the screen going off completely just leaving the flashing LED on the bottom of the monitor. Secondly the laptop picked up some spyware/malware shite so downloaded malwarebytes or something like that, it worked a treat and got rid of the problem, but now the internet wont even attempt to connect, either internet explorer or firefox. Just says 'cannot connect to internet' Any ideas please guys? :surrender:

Oh no...what a bad day. Late last night noticed oil dripping from the bottom of my Merc. I was taking it to a garage this morning when I crashed...in to a bus! Basically I turned a corner (slowly) but the front of the car skidded wide and in to the path of an on coming bus. Thankfully both were going no more that 5-10mph, but the Merc has lost the front wing and the bumper is smashed. I think the bonnet may also be slightly damaged. What a pain and I'm 250 miles from home at my Dad's! Thankfully it's driving OK...but still leaking...a bad day. Mind you, to put things in to perspective, I only have a car problem. Others (such as Joanna Yeates) are …

right now bare with me here, i have a very unique talent (or so ive been told lol), i can take a lot of info and remember it, i can compare it and see similarities in different versions of the same story its a bit like detectives, they have the same abaility to remember certain patterns of certain things ive noticed lately that the word seven has been used but in a lot of different ways, just like my title, it is used in many different variations but is still reffering to the numeral 7 an example may be "gunshots have been heard and witnesses say that up to several shots were fired" it is used all the time, now you will read this and think im more of a…

Does anyone know much about camcorders?? Hoping to find a decent video quality (doesn't have to be HD) camcorder that records to HDD for the sub £200 price range...is that even possible?? Most I've seen are £220 - £350ish but I have no idea when it comes to camcorders so not sure if they're even good or not! Basically want it for hols/travelling, etc as well as possibly mounting in the zed from time to time though this will certainly be a secondary use. as hoping to try and do some research so I can try and bag something in the run up to new years

Here it comes! What with my travel exploits yesterday, Xmas lunch was off the menu. So last night's xmas dinner consisted of me and me dad having rib-eye steak with home made chips (parsnip and potato). Lush as it was, the absolute best thing about xmas is the big dinner with all the trimmings. So, half hour ago a 14lb monster was royally stuffed into the oven and the folks are preparing the veg as i type! My sister and the kids are coming over for some sledging in a mo, then it'll be the big event later this afternoon. I love Xmas! What was the best bit of your dinner yesterday and what do you do differently (if anything) to give it a unique twist? Last year I …

Well, what a day Up at 6:wacko: -10c outside  Scrape the frost off 3 cars, do some shuffling about, then pedal to the carpet. Scotland here I come. Would have travelled yesterday but I was working and didn't fancy a mega-drive on xmas eve. So, a couple of tanks of fuel later I'm up here in Bonny Scotchland. And its warm (ish)! That said, been for a walk on a frozen loch this afternoon - so not that warm... I was seriously in two minds about the journey. Option 1 was leave the Zed on the drive and take the missus' Clio (she's abroad over xmas). Option 2 was fire up the millenium falcon and hit the hyperdrive button, but risk causing terminal st…

i cant believe the way the roads have fell apart again over the last couple of weeks . potholes everywhere and cracks . ive just fitted firmer suspension on my zed and as yet havent took it for a spin because of the ice . having seen the roads today im gonna get myself a gumshield for the maiden voyage to stop my fillings from rattling out . its a bitter pill to swallow when you think of how much we have to pay in road tax .

Morning, An elderly neighbour has just knocked my door for help. Her boiler is a Potterton Kingfisher 2 boiler which has gone out. Can get the pilot light to light but it will not stay on, just goes out once you turn the control knob back to the normal running position. She has it services in September and the guy says he can't come and look at it till next week :( Any ideas? Cheers Vijay
