General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I'm taking part in the Formula Student class 2 entry at uni and we're hoping to do a bit of research into what people actually want from a single seater track day car. I have just been pulled over after a night out with a mate!! The rozzers said that I was over the legal limit to be in charge of a vehicle, and also that I had no front or rear lights!!! When I checked, sure enough I didn't have any front or rear lights!! Can anyone tell me what has happened to my lights? I think the over the legal LIMIT is a bit naff though, has anyone been in this situation before? I really don't think I was over the limit, I only had 5 pints, would this be enough to send me over the limit? I don't think so. Please get back to me before my Mrs finds out, or I'm in the dog house.....:confused1:

Only had the policy since 2 December, the annual premium was only 300 notes!! Robbing effing ***** :cursing: :cursing: :cursing: Found a fab deal for, get this £17 a month for both me and Marc - but now I have to stick with Yes til December or they'll have my eyes out. OMG I am going to the gym to sweat this one out :cursing:

Hi guys, I`m looking for a new sdhc card for my hd camcorder, and I`m looking for suggestions on what card to get! I know all about gb sizes and classes of cards but they vary so much in price, I`m looking at getting a 16gb class 6 card and they range from approx £18-£45 for good brands like, Verbatim, Sandisc, Tdk, Transcend,Fuji ect I have had 3 cards go kaput on me in the last 2 months and lost data, ahhh, 2 were sandisc and one was a 32gb fake jobbie from e-bay !:crying: So which brand/type would you reccommend and why? was on way home from work when 2 racers come along. there i was thinking "why not?" so put my boot in. s2ooo was pretty quick but i kept in front of him then the rx8 started pushing. Well that was it boot in a bit more! Soon feeling like maybe i'm hitting terminal velocity! I was very proud of my little r reg 2ltr mondeo cos she was running off the clock and still felt like she had a bit more left and i was keeping in front of the other cars. Then as i was going around a round-a-bout in 3rd gear with plumes of smoke billowing from the offside front tyre i suddenly had a flash of genius(this is getting a bit silly now and you should just back it down a bit)…

A mate of mine has an s type jag. Just had it mot'd and failed on n/s front tyre. They wouldn't issue the mot until tyre was changed. It has a standard jaguar issue locking wheelnut. To get it off the garage mullered the alloy by whacking the wheelnut with a cold chisel!!! They insist it's a vehicle specific locking nut and jag will need a chassis number to order a new one and it'll cost a hundred odd quid. Surely this is wrong? Any ideas, help appreciated.

My wife was out riding her horse yesterday with her friend. Her friends horse slipped going down a road got scared then bolted. Her friend came off on the concrete and fell on her back hitting her head. She was out cold and my Mrs initially thought she was dead as she was completely non responsive. She called an ambulance and it took them 55 minutes to attend!!! for most of this time her friend with serious back and head injuries was lying unconcious in the road, then she awoke now and then to scream in agony before she went unconcios again. After 20 minutes the Ambulance called her to say they were busy but a private ambulance would be with her in 7 minutes. …

I was just wondering if anyone her could jog my memory about some tv shows that used to be on when i was growing up, i want to collect them all for when my littleun is big enough to watch. heres the ones i enjoyed that i can remember, please add your own to the list :-) thundercats heman samuri pizza cats? maybe i imagined that one... turtles count duckula

Hi Went to work today left my New quad and my older ones in a garage at work Someone has broke in and stolen both Quads, I had a thatcham chain on them both tied together through the chasis, They are both black, and bashan b200s 7 Number plates are cn09 fcu and FJ57 ESN Stolen from main Road Romford Essex We beleive they were put on a flatbed, Both bikes are sprayed with DNA smart water and both are road legal As they are quads both were insured 3rd party only. Ill try post some pictures up, and i will keep my eye out on ebay also. If anyone can help id be grateful, Both quads have less than 400 miles on the clock

been watching my aquarium after a leak a few months ago and ive noticed its moved sibnce instalation. ins on the first floor in a victorian house and roughly 500 litres of water with a fair amount of live rock. the back is bolted to the wall and the front is supported by a a 2x4 frame work witha cabinent sanwhiched between. which is made from chipboard and there are three uprights which are about 2"thick the main display which is just over 330 litres is definatly leaning forward more than it used to and increasing slowy around 1mm over a month. i cant decide though wether its the floor or the stand being crushed anyone got any ideas of how to determine this???
