General Discussions - Non 300ZX

this evening i went for a little drive in the Zed down the road to the new Hindhead tunnel which opened fully yesterday I worked on the traffic surveys and driving time tests for the project about 20 years ago, so was interested to see what they have built 1.25 miles of dual carrigeway, national speed limit tunnel :clap: :thumbup: now seeing as there was only light traffic i felt obliged to try it out in both directions a couple of times, from the noise from in front of me it apeared that some other like minded individuals were also interested in the accoustic properties of the new tunnel. :clap:

After breaking my 300ZX im missing it terribly, so will definitely be replacing it with something else in the near future, question is, what? I'm basically torn between 2 cars - an S15 Silvia Spec R, or a 350Z. The Silvia has less power and fewer cylinders, but its lighter, rarer, and its turbocharged so can be tuned easier, plus i can stick a tasty BOV on it and get back my much missed 'tsssh' sound on gearchanges... But then again, the 350Z has a V6 which would sound lovely anyways, and its would less of a handful because its NA with a torque curve as flat as a pancake... but they're a bit common for my tastes (i like leftfield car choices generally) …

i would like to tow my 300 with an A-frame i have a citreon dispatch 1.9d van ( 1999 ) trying to make out all the Specs doesn any one know of hand the towing capacity of my can and the dead weight of the car ? Mark

While working on my zed I've managed to create a few craters in my asphalt driveway :chris: Can you get asphalt in small amounts? I only need around 3 - 4 kg of the stuff. I was planning on filling the holes in and melting it with my mapp gas, then giving it a good flating with a sledgehammer. As you may have gathered, I know nothing of fixing drive ways, so would this work? Any advice would be great.

not been around for the last few weeks my wifes mum had not been feeling well for a couple of months but despite making doctors appointments she wouldnt go just kept taking pain killers! but in early july it got so bad she finally gave in and went to see her gp, alarm bells starting ringing as she was whisked off to the local hospital for tests and within hours we were told they could do nothing for Sylvia! test and scans showed cancer had set in and that she had been living with it for years!! Sylvia passed away on the 11th of july just a week after being admitted and we have since found out that cancer was in the pancreas the ovaries and into the stomach and that Sylvia…

having recently purchased a z, it is fitted with a cobra front bumper which was blended into front wings, its has cracked and separated. What can i use to stop this happening in future, im thinking some flexible filler. Any ideas anyone?

Ive just had my mot and it failed on worn tyres. I now have new tyres on so its in roadworthy condition now and will pass the retest. But. The mot expired yesterday and the earliest that i can get a retest is monday. I need to take the car to awesomefest this weekend. What would happen if the police did pull me over? Thanks Mark
