After quite a while getting all kind of things sorted, finally the GTR is back in the sun in the new skin! I like to thanks the following people for helping me getting the car back up and running: Marshall @ MnM Engineering: General servicing and just getting anything done (from changing engine oil to dropping the gearbox!) Greg @ ProTuner: Awesome Mapping using the HKS Fcon V Pro 3.0 that most HKS PowerWriter refuse to use or say can no longer be mapped. Great Job and proves that sometime you just need the right person to get what you have in the car working! Dixon @ DMS Racing: Painting the wheels and wings red... Looks awesome and matching the p…

Isn't modern technology brilliant! I've just spent the last hour playing the proper versions of space invaders, galaxians and my all time fave astro-blaster Best of all, they are the real deal, albeit on my iPad. Better yet, I wasn't struggling with on screen controls, it was all done using a nintendo wii remote. With proper buttons!! :sorcerer:

hi guys, not sure if anyone will be able to give me an answer here, one of my neighbours has a van, it's been parked in an awkward place since i moved in 7 months ago, (rather than in his bloody driveway) the tax ran out at the end of the month, the other neighbours say that the van hasn't moved in about a year and a half, so i checked the status of it again today, and he's somehow managed to tax it!!!!!!! surely the MOTt has run out?? how do enquire about a dodgy MOT???? something is deffo not right here!!!!

Not off a Z hence why I thought I'd post here. It's off a 92 peugeot 205 1.8 diesel. Done some research online and the consensus seems to be that the best way to test a coolant sensor is to measure the resistance with a multimeter. Video of soime chap doing it here: From what I can make out, I should be testing the resistance across the two pins on the back of the sensor. When I took the sensor out the car and did this I got no result, zip. Aha I thought it's bust! Bought a new one but that does the same  After poking around a bit I found I can get a measurement if I touch one of the pins and the brass casing. Does this sound r…

Well not me technically but the other half, she took her 207 in for it's MOT at Arnold Clark (only because the MOT's came with the car) on Friday and yesterday whilst I was driving it I heard a strange vibing noise so started to slow down. As I slowed down the noise got worse and sounded like a flat tyre so just as I came to a hault in the lay-by BANG the front passenger side wheel dropped off! It's bent all the wing and part of the sill so will need a bit of work, she hasn't called them yet but what do you think the best approach would be? I'm glad she wasn't driving especially at speed or it could have been nasty!

Just wanted to give a BIG thankyou Pete for letting us use his lovely 2 bed apartment in Torreblanca, Spain for the last 12 days especially. We had an amazing time, the apartment was great, fully fitted, cosy and very spanish. Only 5 mins walk from Train station, 10 mins from 7Km beach, restaurant, bars, shops etc. It was our first holiday in 3 yrs & our first family holiday, with our 2 yr old girl (nightmare) & 9 yr old boy! Neighbours were lovely and situation great apart from the steep hills especially with 2 kids luggage & pushchair! Considering we only gave Pete 4 days notice, he was very accommodating & helpful, a fabulous holiday and highl…

Just got hold of a optoma HD65, but it needs a colour wheel, just spoke to optoma who will not supply the part unless it's to a service center or repair center, so if you can help source the part would be nice to hear from you.

Alright, for all those thinking of a roadtrip, id thoroughly recommend it! Heres day 1 of the story. Bright and early start in Ludlow - packed the car with 3 bags of food, two holdalls, foot pump, jump leads just in case, and tank 3/4 full with sainsbury's finest super unleaded. Was only the second time my dad had been in the car, and at this point he didnt know i'd had it chipped! Started on a glorious morning! best day of the year so far! Set off past Ludlow, then picked up the A489 towards Welshpool. Obviously had to go for the welcome to wales shot (we also packed a tripod :)) First stop on the tour was Powis castle, just outside welshp…

Can anyone tell me the harshest, most nastiest weedkiller I can buy? I've got an area I want clearing and dead for at least a year, but whatever I try, it just won't stay dead, not even slightly dead, all the stuff I have bought just seems to be watered down pi55, I have used sodium chlorate in the past, great stuff, but now i can't buy it any more because people have been using it make bombs....! Cheers peeps.... Tudor :)
