Each day i get home i have at least 3 or 4 answer phone messages, sometimes even 5, from different company's, stating "we are glad to let you be aware that you are entitled to compensation following your recent accident" or "regarding your payment protection insurance bo**cks", press 5 to be conected to an advisor or press 9 to opt out. Before I start I like the banter on here but I would prefer none on here as for me this is difficult to post. 13 years ago I went from a healthy 12 stone to 9 3/4's in about 6 weeks, I was diagnosed with indeterminate colitis and only survived by the doctors removing all of my large bowel and I ended up with an ileostomy (bag). At 24 this was sole destroying but it did save my life, once I gained weight and recovered I had 2 more ops to have things reversed and an internal pouch made from small intestine. I've had this ever since but it has never been right but put up with it as it was a better option. I probably get up 2-3 times every night and can count the number …

In the real world, does anyone spray the stuff with minimal protection, i'm talking about small/med sized items, say from a bonnet panel to a spoiler.. just thought i'd ask...before you all drop down dead !! I just wondered if anyone else knew that the 88-108MHz FM band is going to be switched off here in 2015? I only just found out and I think it's ridiculous because nearly everyone I know uses analogue FM still, mainly because it's more reliable - especially in cars! It looks like it's only happening in Britain too. Our scavenging Government obviously want to sell of yet more bandwidth. :xxx:

Whilst sat (luckily) outside my house yesterday a friend of mine arrived in his Audi S4, much to our shock smoke starting to billow out of the front right wheel arch. We all suspected a stuck caliper at first, but the wheel was stone cold after 30 seconds or so we realised it was something more serious, popped the bonnet whilst I and another friend ran into the house to find something to put water in (kettle and mop bucket...) Another mate dived underneath it and could see embers! So we doused the rear of the engine bay/turbo housings with litres and litres of water until the smoke and steam subsided... Scary stuff couldnt work out what was on fire at first. O…

Having tried practically everything in the past to give up I always found it way too difficult to get there in the end. I heard of this alternative from my mates called vaping and I tried it out for myself. I thought i'd give it a go and order what I needed, its not a method of giving up per se - but it cuts out the harmful smoke/tar in cigarettes. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-tank-ecig-products.html Literally the only thing this gives off is water vapour and since i've been using it I havent even thought about having a fag. It gives the same sensation as smoking and that shot of nicotine into your throat. It's also far far cheap…

Was browsing pistonheads today, looking for a reliable sports car - lol, but I couldn't help noticing that Supras seem to have gone up about 3-4 grand since the last time I looked. Not the N/A auto crap - the twin turbo manuals seem to be about 10 grand for a decent one, whereas when I last looked they seemed to be about 6-8k. How can it be that the Supra's hold their values so well? I know Sudesh has got a zed for sale at 10k at the moment, but that is way above the average price of our Zeds (and rightly so in this case). I just don't get it. Any ideas?

I'm currently having a bit of a nightmare situation at the moment, im not going to go into to much detail as there is still a court case on going, but the short of it is, Tuesday at around 6:30pm while my mrs had the kids, they were snatched from her arms by the mother, at the time we were going through the process of custody. following day on Wednesday i got granted a residency order for the children to be returned to my care, she has failed to do so, so at present i have a lot of stuff on my mind and ive been in and out of court trying to protect my children. They still are not back in my care at this present time. so im having to stay in and play the waiting game…

last week driving back had overheating and plumes of white smoke so straight away i thought the head gasket had gone. Seems Hilux`s are quite common for the head to crack as well so i had to get it off and take a look to confirm. Had the head off within a day to inspect and here are the results below. Sure enough a few cracks can be seen from the outside and probably more within and the amount of crap and gunk in the ports just shows how bad things were. Cleaned out the inlet manifold as that was caked in it and got on the phone to rough trax to order some new parts. Gasket set, bolts and a AMC cylinder head which inb the 4x4 world are outstanding as to …

The economy is so bad that,I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail. CEO's are now playing miniature golf. Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen. Angelina Jolie adopted a child from America. Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore.A picture is now only worth 200 words. They renamed Wall Street " Wal-Mart Street "Finally, I called the Suicide Hotline. I got a call center in Pakistan and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.
