As per title....(no, its not for me!) My daughter passed her test Monday :thumbup1: and has her heart set on a Ka so thought I would chance my arm and check on here! Basically looking for one with a decent MOT left on it, Tax on it would be a bonus but no probs if not, no more than a 1.3 engine (thats probably the biggest they come in anyway!) and I want to pay around £650 max :) She wants a pink one :wacko: but will be banning that from my drive! Trading Standards called me today. The garage have responded to their letter, saying that they are willing to take the Saab back, in part ex for another car in their lot. Hmm. Trading Standard lady says that they are quite within their legal rights to offer me a replacement car of equivalent value or to give me the value that I paid for mine, off the cost of another one of their cars. I've been trying to get to the Isle of Wight all year, but a combination of trashy weather and other commitments has not made this possible. However, summer has finally arrived (October?) and I'm planning to go this Saturday. Does anyone know of any great spots for car photos? I know it sounds sad but I'd love to take photos of the Z in a perfect spot with the sea in the background, great elevation etc. I'm hoping some of you guys will know where to go! Thanks.

Guys I have 2 Panasonic CF-29 Toughbook laptops, one a Mk2 whick keeps blue screening, the other I just bought which is a Mk3. My plan is to use 5 hard drives/caddy's with a fresh XP Pro install with different diagnostic programs. The issue I have is that when I swap the hard drives between the laptops, when I put them in the new one I get a conflict and the laptop wont start, obvioulsy as the xp install has been done in another laptop. I cant get to a boot screen for formatting the hd, is there a way I can format the hard drive only either in the faulty laptop or on the new one then install a fresh copy of XP rather than buying new hard drives. I have been looking for one of these for months now, glad I waited however as I managed to drop on this SRT model from a dealer for the price of a none SRT model. Called the SRT Design it has everything the 6.1 V8 has except the engine - 3.0 MB diesel engine :-) sports suspension, big seats, mesh grill and 20" wheels plus this one has a full Chrysler history. Wifes recently bought a mac and I need to swap all here personal folders from Outlook (2007) to her Mac. I'd thought I had found the answer with O2mac program but every page I go to I find the links are broken:2guns: to the download I have read that I could download Thunderbird and import the .pst files into that then change the extension to something else and then the mac will import this file. :hammer: Just won't somehting quick and easy, don't mind paying for the right program (well the wife doesn't :whistling:

What a end to the 2011 British Drift Championship. The final round at the Nissan Factory was tense, as the championship was up for grab and it was anyone's game! I am happy to announce that MeisterR had a great finish sponsoring the champion of the professional class and the runner-up of the super professional class. Both cars are using off the shelf MeisterR Zeta-R Coilovers, and have ran though the entire season without skipping a beat. Got a wee problem with the pc, or rather Windows if anybody can help ? PC spec is Intel core 2 Quad, running Windows 7. PC is only 4 months old. Send a lot of pics to my daughter, who lives and works in China, but have developed a problem with Skydrive. When I open Hotmail, and try to attach pics using Silverlight/Sydrive, it then lets me pick my pictures to attach to the email. Heres where the problem starts. The pictures wont load ?? Wee bar appears under the pictures, turning green as they attempt to upload, but the error message appears !! hello people, i was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with renting out a property? im after some advice, but feel estate agents etc may not advise me right as they will be biased. basically i want to move out of the house im in now, which im paying a mortgage on. and move to a different area. my house has been on the market for 3 years now and dosent look like selling any time soon (theres at least 5 houses for sale on my road) so, i was wondering about renting out my house and renting a property for myself where i want to live. but i don have the first idea about how to go about it..... can anyone point me in the right direction? or …

From Indian_zx's thread it appears that there are a few people that understand boilers and plumbing systems on here! Which is alot more than can be said for me! Basically I want to replace the nasty bathroom thats in my house. Its a 3 bed semi, it has gas central heating/hot water at the moment. Its an old Baxi conventional boiler that has a hot water tank in the bathroom and two header tanks in the loft, a big one (im not entirely sure what for, cold water of course, but is that to supply the hot water tank with cold or the cold water taps in the house?) and a small one for the heating system. (I think) Now it all works fine, its just pretty old and inefficient…

With a few similar threads recently about dealerships closed down in the US I was surprised when driving recently through my old town where I grew up (late 70`s) to see what was the main Rover dealership in the day closed down and looking a bit sad. But a double look prompted me to go back and take a few pics, an amazing frozen in time situation, how does this happen? and for those not old enough to know the last pic is of a Marina, looked as brand new condition through the glass but dusty, a bit of an icon of the day. Just finished my first triathlon today. quite pleased with myself, 1/4 mile swim, 17 mile bike 4 mile run - 1 hour 42 mins not exactly the fastest time (1hour 15) but not to bad considering ive only been training for 10 weeks

Anyone else seen this? I watched it tonight, and it's nothing like the trailer, there's only about 10 minutes of driving in it (?), an hour of cheesy electro music whilst you have to watch two people who hardly speak for the first half hour, gaze lovingly into each others eyes, and about 20 minutes of violence, but the violence bits where Ok, if your into that, which fortunately I am... Anyways, I was expecting car chases and, believe it or not, driving. It's something to watch, but basically has bugger all to do with driving, apart from they talk about it sometimes, the guy has an indestructible car, and about 7 reverse gears during the one short car chase... This is the best BT can offer me in 2011, the exchange is only 3 miles away, I live in a rural setting, the village is less than 2 miles long and 2 miles wide, not really a high traffic area.......... BT visited a few weeks ago to change the line pair over from a near by connection box due to a hum on the line defo seems slower than before with the hum! that said the engineer mentioned that the overhead copper cables were approx 30 years old and no amount of new technology in the exchange can circumvent that.
