did my good deed for the day today. was on my way home when i saw a bloke pushing a porsche boxter up the road.(porker are u listening). pulled over and offered a hand, the lad was trying to push start it, his mum was in the drivers seat doing the business with the clutch etc. after loads of pushing we couldnt get it going , it was completely dead, i find out that the car has been stood in garage for ages, porsche came out to get it going and suggested that the battery is very low and it needs a good run so off they go for a run, only to stall it and not be able to start it. I know i said, my folks live just up the road i'll go get some jump leads, go round folks ho…

Clarkey - are you a computer whizz who's been on computers since the day after you were born ? Jaylox - when are you going to publish a list of prices for Carbon parts ? Do you know the masses of the steel body panels on a Z/200SX ?

Further to the idea of a 300zx.co.uk calender. I have aquired some free web space. Go here for details. Upload your pics for use in the calender, if you have any that are photographs or transparancies (not negs), and are not held digitally, you can send them to me and I'll scan them, email me for my postal address. I'm not commiting to creating the calender yet, that really depends on you lot getting me some good pics to play with/use. I'll need files by the 1st week of November then we'll decide what to do. :D THIS IS NOT FOR YOUR RIDES PICS, IT'S SOLELY FOR IMAGES YOU"D LIKE CONSIDERED FOR USE IN THE CALENDER. Thanks Tim

Mine's LEON so far. It's a great story of how a troubled hitman rediscovers love from an unlikely source. The film is tragic on many levels. Their unfortunate situations are sad, the loneliness of living in a large city, the mind of Stansfield, Leon's personality which makes him a bit 'strange' and therefore lonely. I think the acting is brilliant along with the music, action scenes and storyline. So what's yours ?.........

Been busy wazzing round bits of the S & SW over the past few days and I can officially say that it's rained in Essex. Herts, Berks, Wilts, Avon, Somerset, Devon, Somerset, Avon, Glocs, Wilts, Berks, Herts & Essex and maybe others I've forgotten ! 2.5" of rain and force 9 gales on the N.Devon coast on Sunday FFS - I'm glad the targas don't leak on mine. On the A417, a nice fast road between Gloucester and the M4 I would have been better off with a rudder and propeller, but I'm pleased to say that the Zed didn't miss a beat, I did nearly 3 tanks of fuel (!) and the traction control got a good workout. :)

i have decided to take my zed back to falcon to get steve to assess the damage. if the damage is extensive then i am going to buy a second hand engine, as i just cant afford a new one. steve said its ok to keep my zed there while i hunt for a decent engine if need be. Right here comes the favour, do any of you know someone who will tow my zed to middlesbrough from beverley for cheap? if any of you guys can help that will be great. i dont want to get a recovery company in as it will cost a fortune. if i had a tow bar on the BMW then i would have hired a trailer. any ideas are wellcome. cheers steve
