General Discussions - Non 300ZX

has anyone fitted this one to his Zed? I saw it on the veilside site, but the pics are not very informative and they are also too small. Can someone with one fitted post some pics? Thanks in advance. XTT

Hi I'm looking to get a Z in the near future and was wondering what the difference is between UK and Import? I think that Import has 300bhp and UK 270bhp?? And you're less likely to get leather and all of the gadgts with the UK? The insurance difference is massive so I'd rather get a UK but a few companies that deal with imports say thatI'd be wasting my money and once it's one about 60k miles it gonna go wrong pretty soon?? Considering its on every night and every night we see pictures of battles and all war type things, but should we really see this? My rear tyres always wear more towards the insides whereas there's always a couple of mm left on the outsides. Methinks there's a wee bit too much negative camber. I'm on 18X265/35s. Anybody tried to adjust the rears with the adjustable top link inner pivot bolt with the cam adjustment? I had tried to loosen it with an ordinary spanner but it was well tight. I figured I might as well take out as much negative camber as the adjustment allows. Might have to try a long bar or me torque wrech to get the leverage.

See the attached picture it shows the drivers side inner wing suspension turret mount on a UK zed. I have seen few serious rust problems on the zed except lower sills etc but do see this problem at the front mainly on UK spec cars. If the inner arch guard is removed it is not too obvious why this occurs, just a thought how many owners have this same fault and wonder if it causes MOT failures as it is very close to a fixing point? I've just been speaking to a guy from Redline motorsport (http://www.redlinemotorsport.co.uk) about sfs silicon hose. They do a coolant kit for the z32 and he's checking if they do a boost kit aswell. They seem to be slightly cheaper than Samco but the best thing was the quoted 2 week turnaround for out of stock items, unlike Samco's 6-8 weeks (and usually thats optimistic;) )

Anyone on here owned a GTO or considered a GTO, and drove one? What did you think of it, what was it like in comparison to a zed?

well got my car back 2 weeks a go. No dent in door no rusty wheel arshes and sill sorted out slowly getting there. just the bushes and lower gearbox mount to do + change gearbox + diff oil. got the body work done at bodytone in wokingham did a good job.
