Who's going to Japfest at Castle Coombe from the Staffs/Shropshire area?? Fancy a ride down with a decent convoy of Scoobs?

I'm hoping I don't need it! The Zed is getting it's first longish motorway run today. Bristol to Fareham. Lets hope it holds up, if not there's always Green Flag ;) Unfortunatly I have to leave early as I can't drive the Zed on unlit roads/motorways due to the f*****g useless dipped headlights. Tried the other night on the motorway and I had to crawl to the next exit at 50mph cos I couldn't see more than six foot in front of the car  Still at least my new wiper blades now work, although I hope I don't get too much road spray as the windscreen washers don't work :( Heh heh heh I think today will be interesting ;)

What a wierd day i've had! Firstly it's my Birthday, so I guess I should be happy, but my dog and faithful companion for 12 yrs had to go to the vets. It transpired that he had to have an emergency op, and at 17 yrs and with a list of ailments there was a chance he wouldn't wake up from the anesthetic. So, 3pm was a long time in coming but.... He's now home, grumpy and tired and I've got a can of beer, so I guess I can start smiling now, at least the day will end on a high! :D Just had to share. Tim

Spotted ... Sexy, Sexy Yellow Z, with ferrari-stylee rear lights and nice (high) rear spoiler on the M20 Sunday, in convoy with a Red Mitsi 3000, heading towards the smoke ... Irish plate and looking good ... I did wave, but since I was in my Jeep, pottering along in the slow lane, I don't expect you noticed ;) Sound familiar?

While I was waiting for 2 hours for the RAC to turn up, I saw 2 Z's go past. One a Z31 red. Looked really nice. He had a good looks as he went past. 2nd, grey Z32 J reg UK, just flew past, dispite me being parked up in a bad place, with hazard lights on, bonnet up and standing by the side of the road, didnt say hello, wave or stop to help. If I saw another Z32 broken down and I was in my one. I would stop to help. Would you? Stuart

  8. That was my car just as I pulled off a roundabout. Lots of pops, a few very loud bangs, followed by a smoke screen that Spy Hunter would be proud of (for all the old computer game nuts out there ;)) stalled. And the engine wouldnt do anything after that. 2 hours later the RAC arrive, I get the car home, ECU code 21, the dredid PTU. I take it off, read up on how to fix it and Andy says clean it. I did, started up first time. I also think I have a MAS problem too cos the car wouldnt go over 2500rpm before it conked out. Bet you any money now, if I take it for a drive anywhere, it will stop working again. :( Should I take the risk. C…

I'm off work in pain!! I played football for the company on Wednesday evening and went for a 50-50 ball with the goalkeeper and smashed my left knee up pretty badly, no good!! Was at hospital until 4am getting it sorted, am now on crutches in a heavy strapping (can't have cast as my knee and surrounding area are still swelling!!) but on the plus side........ .....The pain killers are great and it's a compensatable injury ;) as I was representing work at the time (££££!) So I have to go back on Wednesday to have it looked at again, assuming the swelling has gone down so they can see what's up! And then more than likely an operation, i.e. camera, cu…

Got pulled on Thursday morning for giving an unmarked police car the finger! He was tootling down the outside lane of a dual carriageway with no cars on the inside and no cars in front. So, better judgement deserted temporarily, I undertook him. He beeped his horn so, obviously, got the finger. He then promptly followed me to work and, when I jumped out of my car and went over to "politely" ask if he had a problem, he identified himself (very sharpish!) as a police officer. He told me he'd been driving in the outside lane 'coz he was expecting me to undertake him! WTF?! He also said that it was an offence under some public order act or something to give peo…

As you know my previous car (excluding the Mondeo ST24) was a 1993 J-Spec MK4 Supra Twin Turbo and some of you have asked if at some point I could submit my opinions/comparisons regarding the two: 1) Looks - As everyone knows, looks are subjective but my preference is the Supra. There's something about the 300s interior that I prefer though. Not sure what. Maybe the whole cockpit feel thing. I feel more enclosed in the Z, which is how I like it!!! 2) Performance - The Supra wins in this department, basically because of the smooth delivery from it's straight 6 and sequential turbo setup. The 300 is f'king FAST but the Supra definately has the edge. I noticed the …

I was on my way to collect my 300 yesterday from having its new gearbox fitted, when my mates 200 spun on some handy diesel and launched us into the central reservation, to impact on some handily placed armco, leaving us facing the wrong way on the central reservation of a dual carriageway. The armco was f**ked, having been ripped off its supports and forced about 5' towards the other side or the carriageway. I have to say it did its job though, and stopped us crashing into oncoming traffic on the other side of the road. Mates 200 had both front tyres ripped off the wheels, passenger side wing is f**ked, passenger side front track rod snapped, wheel arch …

Listen guys, I've currently got cable, and out of the hundred odd channels that are available, we probably only utilize a hand full of them. I could downgrade but I have been thinking of going for the freeview option, or even going the whole hog and getting a t.v with the free adaptor already built in(£100 saving). Has anyone else done similar?
