well, i guess people found out Ajay had been made into a moderator.... actually, she has taken on a club admin role, and that was the easiest way to get her onto the admin/moderator discussion list. the club is moving forward, with people looking into affiliation, insurance, indemnity, and other club official/legal stuff once it is up and running properly, then members will be polled/voted for official club roles, but until then, it is discretionary. sorry if that offends anyone. we are also formalising the hosting/bandwidth agreement for the server with Mike, as we are constantly running over the "free" amount he has given us. the ideas put forwa…

I have just seen my first 350Z in the flesh. They have a Jap Sunset (bronze) one at Castle Motors - 10 miles into Cornwall on the A38 Plymouth to Liskeard road. http://www.castle-motors.com refers. They refer to it as a Sport in some ads but it looks like a T version to me : leather, auto box and Bose but 17" wheels and no Brembos. At £29,999 it looks expensive compared with the better spec UK GT at £26,500 but you can have it now. I remain a fan! They also have a bronze 260Z for sale.

Had a bit of a play today with a BMW M5, was dissappointed with my UK 90TT for a while as I couldn't get pull away from the 52 reg 5 series. The gap stayed pretty constant until I lifted and braked for a left turn. Only then when it came past me did I see the M5 badge on the rear. My dissapointment totally evaporated when back at my desk had a look on the BMW web site at the specs for the M5. I guess he must have been a bit upset that his almost new car worth ££££££'s couldn't out accelerate a 13 year old Nissan !! :D Made my day, and possibly ruined his...

So, tell me, why should any young pleb would even try to insure a car when it has today been anounced that driving without insurance will now be dealt with by a £200 (yes, two hundred) fine and 6 points? So let me get this right, they have just upped the FPN fines to upto £150 for speeding, in certain circumstances, and it's only £200 if you get caught without insurance. Who votes that cars driven without insurance should be crushed, regardless? Harsh? I hope so. Tim

Guys, As a few of you are aware I have had nothing but problems with the 300ZX since day 1, and now it would seem that fate has taken another turn int hat I have now split from the missus and as a result, the 300ZX seems unaffordable on my own. Now, I have had the car about 4months, spent £5k buying the car and have since spent another £6K on mods and repairs to the car, standing me at £11K. I realise that I will never get £11K for the car, but I was wondering what you guys thought that a reasonable price would be?? I know that you can pick up a car for about £5K, TT spec and with maybe little history about it, but with mine I know what has been done …

Red Z with a high rear spoiler, very much like MAC1's and a Stillen light panel. Spotted in Billinge around 7:30. I flashed my lights and I got a wave back. :D Any one here? Stuart
