Investigating putting new turbos on my engine (might be nackered) and a slightly blown head gasket just thought i'd look around for a replacment engine. Get this, asked a seller in the us (not sure if engine is there or still in japan) about shipping and apparently last week he sent one to paris at about $400 shipping and took 4 days. Pretty damn good if you ask me! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33615&item=2426765607 Not that i'm going to buy this one just tought it was pretty good.

Does anyone know where you can get a video/dvd/mpeg of the classic rover vitesse (Std road car except he had slicks on and it was in the wet....) racing round the island and he averaged 101mph compared to the fastest bikes which last year did a 128mph average speed.

I'd like to do a quick poll of opinion. Someone told me this week that they didn't think the zed was the 'right image for me'. (!!) This comment was based upon the following facts/opinions:- [*] I am the director of an architectural practice that specialises in designing houses for the MEGA-rich (ie £2M upwards) [*] the Zed is an old design which looks dated. [*] it's a very fast and very LOUD car (this offends some people apparently :D ) [*] you'd only run a zed if you couldn't afford a 'quality sports car' (ie Porche, Aston, Ferrari etc) They went on to say that I ought to drive a BMW or, if I had to have a fast 2+2 (which I DO!) maybe a DB7? …

after Peter Hoods, lenghthy & exhaustive investigation into the reliability of modded cars. i was very suprised to discover that my car has broken down so many times (without me knowing - perhaps while it was parked  ) & the plastic bumper will have to go i suppose - even tho its a 99 spec genuine nissan one. im trying to fabricate one from balsa wood ;) in fact, owning a zed is a complete & utter unecassary expense anyway, we should all sell up in favour for 998cc fiesta's :D actually all cars should be banned! im just gonna use my pushbike from now on!! :D (disclaimer - if anyone should take offence then please note this…

Because I've just had these made. I can get them in any colour with any colour or size logo. £40 without logo or £45 with.

The most compicated toy known to man - and it doesn't come with any instructions !!. What makes things worse is you get significant batch-to-batch variation  And some of them only allow entry of one hole :( and that is not all the time !! You even have to wait a while before entry is allowed. Some rarely/never allow anyone to enter while some are very inviting. Don't get me wrong, they can be the best fun ever - but how frustrating are they ?? whaddya all think ??:

Plastic kit's are ok but die-cast is the way to go. This is my slightly modified 1/18 zx with big zorst's and UK spec spoiler, but if you want to make an exact model of your own car it should'nt be to hard with all the tuning parts you can buy for these models.

This may sound strange but does anyone know where I can get a plastic scale model kit of the 300ZX I've been building model cars for some years but have never seen a Z32. If any one knows of a manufacturer please let me know and I'll make you a copy of you own car for no more than the price of the kit. Thanks in advance ChrissyP...

    1. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night. 2. If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings." 3. Seeing Eye Dogs These two women were out for a Saturday stroll. One had a Doberman Pincher and the other had a Chihuahua. As they sauntered down the street, the one with the Doberman said to her friend, "Let's go over to that bar and get something to drink." The one with the Chihuahua said, "We can't go in there. We've got dogs with us." The one with the Doberman said, "Just follow my lead." They walked over to the bar and the one with the Doberman put on a pair of dark glasses and started to walk in. The bouncer at the door said, "Sorry, Lady, no pets allowed." The woman with the Doberman said, "You don't understand sir. This is my Seeing-Ey…

It was on another posting recently and someone gave the history of how they got to owning a Zed in car history. I'm sure that most of you have had dozens of car but it would be interesting to see how you got to a Zed in the cars that you WANTED at the time. So here's mine... Metro 1litre L Fiat Uno 1.1 60S Fiat Uno Turbo 1.3 Turbo Fiat Uno Turbo 1.3 Turbo Honda CRX 1.6 Rover 620 ti 2.0 Turbo Toyota MR2 Nissan 300zx 3. Twin Turbo Other than the Toyota, I've always managed to go up in either power or engine size, which I'm quite proud of. Not sure where I can go from here though!! Rod

I discovered that the Zed I bought recently has a K & N Induction kit on it. So I notified the insurance company (direct line) who told me that my premium would go up £36 a year and the excess would go up £100. Seems a bit steep for an air filter that potentially gives about 12 hp more. I am tempted to see if anyone wants to swap it for a stock one. (the mounting flange has a crack, but seems solid enough) John
