Wes'side :cool: I dont get to drive the zed to work that often, but am bringing it in every day now til I get the Mondeo MOT'ed (lazy...) Now I've passed this light blue 300ZX Z31 loadsa times before and flashed or waved to him on most occasions, but no reaction :(. It seems to me that the for sale and wanted section don't have enough posts to warrant individual areas! It might give the site a cleaner look if we merge them! Also half the time people are selling and wanting the same thing on two different areas and not meeting up! Anyway you decide!

If so, the N/A seems closer than I thought, especially for a standing 1/4. Is this really wildly inaccurate? Seems like in certain circumstances an N/A can hold it's own. Like from a standing start. Is this another old argument? Would a stock T T in reality destroy an N/A in a standing 1/4?

Just had an interesting problem on a fellow Zed owner hwo's car started smoking badly,misfiring pinking . he limped to my house and when he got here there was smoke coming from everywhere he thought it was on fire, I looked underneath and the cats were cherry red , you could have put a screwdriver through em like butter..........................................after several tests and checks I can now comfirm its problem was ..........................Diesel ffs so there you have the first Zed to run on diesel allbeit not very well,,, still don't know how he got it to my house , cause it struggled to pull on my driveway. just remember don't let your wife put fu…

What an arse of a job that was :rolleyes: Took me and a mate about 3 hours last night to fit the bugger. Getting the trim back on is the hard bit. I was trying to keep the hole in the susp tower trim as small as poss, whilst being able to access the strut brace nut and bolt, and get the trim back on over the back seat clip thingy :mad: Did it in the end, will post some pics up when I get them off me mate. Looks lovely, and I think I can feel some difference in driving, not a much roll round bends, maybe I'm imagining it tho, but I think there is improvement. Hello, I want to spray my cambelt cover - to match the other bits I've colourcoded (again...pics soon :D ) How is this removed? Just a few nuts and bolts, or do any of the water pipes have to be moved? Cheers Pete

how can you change the torque but not nec the bhp? just wandered as my car seems to have a fair bit of torque but not so much bhp, thought they would go hand in hand.:confused:

I am on a Fire Rescue Unit course, since I am changing my role at work! Part of the work it does is airplane chrashes and we visited the Aircraft Accident Investigation Centre! In there they had about twenty aircraft that were involved in accidents and had reassembled the wreckage of the Lokerbie plane on a gigantic wire frame, with the section of the explosion blatantly obvious! Very eerie!!! We also deal with car crashes so if you have a prang in your Zed in South London and see one fireman saying that we have to take the wheels off to get you out of the car, just agree with him!!:D :D

Finally, the guys' side of the story. I must admit, it's pretty good I think you will find this interesting, But you know as well as I do things don't work like this!! Yo dudes, Being at uni, im a member of the "formula brookes club" which has karting days etc. Well coming up soon is the 1st track day, which i wanna do as the Z's a bit classier than most student fiestas etc. Firstly i've just read there are noise restrictions, no more than 98db, ( http://www.formulabrookes.co.uk/track_days.htm ) will that be a problem for a Scorpion cat back exhaust? I still have the cats. I also have a k&n filter and will run about 14psi but i doubt that affects noise.
