Guys, my son has bought a set of coilovers for his Golf Mk4. HOW TO GUIDE HERE: http://noahlh.com/car/coilover_howto/ In order to get the OEM shocks off I need to get hold of a 21mm - 60 degree offset spanner/s & one 22mm to get the coilovers back on the car, Short of buying a complete set from the US, can anyone point me towards a UK supplier? I can't even seem to find them on the Snap On site

Just bought myself a new alarm system for the garage, Is there anyone on here that might be able to help me wire it in please? I have routed all the wiring to each individual item, such as outside siren, control panel and the internal PIR sensor. My only problem now is, understanding the damn jargon they use to connect everything together and which wire goes to which terminal.:blushing: I will happily add more detail/pictures as required, I just wanted to put some feelers out first.

today the wife was out in a passat we have just bought as a run around, its a 2002 1.8t. as she was only driving to the local shop 1/2 mile away the car ground to a halt, so i went round and met her. The front right and rear left brakes had seized on solid and smoke was pouring out. In order to get the car home i released the pressure by slightly undoing the bleed nipple so she could drive litterally round the corner to the house. now there is no brake pedal at all. Is this likely to be the master cylinder. Also i believe it may have the wrong brake fluid in as it is green and i dont believe it should do. Any help is much appreciated

  18. Guys 6 weeks ago I bought a 60 plate Renault Grand Scenic 1.5 DCi, the trip is showing 38.7 mpg. The 08 plate one that was traded in was returning nearly 50 mpg, with a few miles to and from the motorway and the bulk of its daily journey sat at between 50 and 60 on the motorway as her indoors doesnt break the limit. I was sold the car on the presumption that the dealer was puting money in my pocket, 39 mpg is costing me money, its booked in to get checked next Thursday but I know before it goes they will say there is nothing wrong with it. Anyone else had similar issues, I have registered with a Scenic forum and there are quite a few people complaining abou…

  22. A ticking noise, from the engine, only heard when the radio is off/heater fans low/off. At its loudest in top gear at around 1600rpm going uphill. My daily drive is a 2008 (77000 mile) Chrysler 300c SRT common rail diesel A ticking noise, from the engine, only heard when the radio is off/heater fans low/off. At its loudest in top gear at around 1600rpm going uphill. The ticking noise can be heard a lot louder when engine is cold and quietens off when the engine warms, can be heard in all gears but as I say loudest in top gear under load. Today I got the car in top gear at 1600rpm going uphill listening to the ticking noise, I then, without getting it t…
