Wondered if you'd like to share your greatest error of judgement. Here's mine. It's a sad tale. Traded in my 1.1 Fiesta for it. Drove it. Broke it at 142 MPH on a private test track in Scotland. New engine, turbo and huge bill. Broke it for good finally in Norfolk. Drove it into some holidaymakers Rover along a country lane, luckily they didn't get hurt. A good 6 years ago now. Not proud. Very painful. Any more? :mac1:

Did anyone see the program about speed cameras the other night. I missed it but I've been told that they said at the end that if anyone knew of any Cameras not meeting the governments critiria they would remove them. 1) does anyone Know the critiria? 2) If we are aware of synically placed revenue collecting machines ( speed camaras placed to collect money not save lives) Then why don't we name them and get other clubs to do the same and send them to the BEEB I'm no eco terrorist but, I have got to the point where I don't know anyone who has not been done by these things. Including my mother and she's a pensioner FFS. Oh ye and wh…

As my driving is abominable, I have been thinking of going on one of those track day/ race driving type courses (where you get to drive someone elses nice car, instead of pranging your own). Has anyone tried one? or are you all track-day heroes and need no tuition. Are they any good? and do I want to steer clear of the Red letter Day kind - 'drive a ferarri for the day'? My driving really is appalling and I do need to be told how to drive the thing properly.

Got my HICAS eliminator bar from courtesy now, so hopefully going to get it fitted soon. Thing is I want to remove all the crap from under the bonnet that goes with it. Anyone know if I can block the high pressure outlet from the pump, or does that dead head it? I'm thinking if the same HP supply feeds the front steering rack then it'd be OK to block it. Either that or fit an NA steering pump I suppose - anyone got one lying around?

Went down the tattooists on Friday afternoon with my girl to both get some work done and.....I'm well pleased with the results! Went for the Eye of Horus in black, approx 11x8cm between my shoulderblades (see Avatar!). Been wanting this done since I was 18 and I'm sooo chuffed! Mind you my girls design looks pretty damn fine as well...;) (and before you ask, no we didn't get matching ones!)...Just thought I'd share. Leigh.

My car isn't the nicest one around, its pretty stock, I have however spent a lot of money getting the bodywork pretty much mint in time for a new spoiler and a few other mods, Park up today and to my horror see a massive dent in the front wing, no idea how it got there and noone has owned up to it, will probably need the wing replacing. Not happy at all, I'm in the process of stepping up the property ladder and this is making me consider repairing and selling, Why can't people own up to this? its their fault not mine, now I have to pay for their damn mistake :(
