I was just reading the thread about the 350z for sale and there's a comment about the advert currently showing. I was wondering what you all thought the best ad was...... I'll kick this off by saying it was the Pirelli ad where the guy leaves his mountain home to find that his girlfriend has done his brakes. While he's fighting for control down a mountainside she's back at the house packing a suitcase. She opens the door at the sight of headlights only to drop her bad when she sees it's the guy she's tried to kill pulling into the drive..........Quality !!! Just a side question.....was he driving a UR Quattro ? Mark

Interest is growing for operation Zeedom. We want to get any many Z's there as possible. Check the link to the Events meeting below for all the details and add your name to the list if you can make it :D. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=247939#post247939post247939 :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: We will have a couple of 400+BHP Z's and hopefully a never seen before 600+ BHP full monty Show Z, which I think will be one of the biggest hitters to date (until Mac's is ready of course then the title is up for grabs again ;) )

Decided to get one of these kits from Chris at Getgreddy and it wern't too bad at all, 5 new earth leads and nice shiny gold terminal. Suppose there are a couple of ways of doing this, i chose to have just the 2 of terminal then feed the others of them. Once done it was all sooo pretty, matches well with me bits of red silicone too which was a nice touch. Fired her up and alls well, too well infact cos ten mins down the road the water pumps groaning away and i lose a drive belt :( So back to the tools and try and find the time to do it before Thor ! cheers, smithy

Right, I've been looking through quite a few old threads concerning the rear fog light conversion. The first thing I've noticed is that there are quite a few peeps asking how/where to do it. So, If no one objects, I'm in the progress of changing the abortion that was fitted to mine, to a much more neater set-up, and will take plenty of pics to a veiw of doing another FAQ write-up. Just thought it may come in usefull to those that are un-sure as to what to do. And b19rks, do you still have that fold down led fog light under your numberplate? ;) Let me know your thoughts

Thanks Peter and Martin you both did a great job and made me very happy :D, only problem is I'm looking out the window every 5 minutes now to make sure nothing has happened to it  Although Quad lights are not to everyones taste I love them and I think it works really well, I also think the black strip above them works well too, I don't think I'd like it if we painted that as well. The Sub box and Amp rack have to be seen in the flesh to be really appreciated and it sounds superb  I appologise in advance as some silver spaceship kept getting in the way

I really need a daily drive as I don't want to screw up my zed and I'm using it every day since I sold my old granny. I had more of a budget for a 'sensible' car, but through various circumstances this has been reduced down to about 2k. What would be my best bet for a resonably reliable big family car? Fuel economy is all relative as I get about 20mpg now, so anything better than that that will happily have standard unleaded would be fine. I do need to get a dirty child in there too. If I say what I was thinking of I'll probably be laughed at, but hey, here goes.... Rover 600?? big, based on a Honda engine, looks quite nice (each to their own)...when you've sto…

Popped home to drop some stuff off during my lunch and what did I see coming onto the island but a red J Spec Z....had a bit of a play (didn't really gun it) and he turned off into the harvester, so I dropped my stuff off and went back to the pub. Met Simon and his missus and told him to visit this site.....he said he'd be at the Midlands Meet on Sunday too. The one time I don't have any of those CC sized leaflets in my Z too!! :slap: Matty.

Speed trap van parked on double yellow lines on the A40 going into High Wycombe from the west today. Parked on double yellow lines. Not only that but so far from the kerb it was blocking the entire lane. Morons!!!!! In fact the traffic was slowed to such an extent that no-one has a change to exceed the speed limit even if they wanted to, so not much chnace of revenue today :). Just prooves how inbred they are. I could almost hear the sound of the bano as I went past the van.

Sorry! :D Anyone interested like to add some ideas? When the scamera partnerships are asked to defend their actions, their number one answer is always "the law is the law" followed by " slow down and you will never hear from us". In theory they are correct, but can we throw in some common sense and add a touch of reality please! 99% of drivers (including on and off duty police, magistrates, lawyers etc.) will exceed the speed limit at some point when they feel it's safe to do so on any given journey. I wonder what percentage of drivers prosicuted for speeding were actually driving safely at the time? Are there any stats on this available? I would bet atl…

ok so i was down the B&Q the other day and to my disbelief i saw couple trying to get 6 standard size fence panels into the back of a fiat bravo, i saw them take the trolley loaded up and bring it up to the rear of there car, i just thought tomyself no chance, anyways i load my stuff up and took the trolley back, pulls off and they're still trying to get this stuff in the car, the birds just there hands on hips while the fart knocker of a bloke is trying to manovre these panelsl into this tiny car. another thing i remember of mass stupidity is when i worked at pc world and some guy buys a desk, now these flat pack beasts are quite heavy and rather large, and im o…

IF u r selling privately.... Isn't allowing potential buyers to drive your car very risky - as if they are not insured, you are not covered if they crash. Do ppl ask to see insurance documents ? even then, most insurance does not cover you in another car does it ? Would it be reasonable to not allow them to test drive but to drive while they are in the car ? This wud take out test pilots and avoid big problems if they crashed.

Friend of mine has a Nissan Micra K reg, with clutch problems, crunches in reverse and first. Does this sound like a knackered clutch, or can it be adjusted, or does it sound like gearbox problems ? Thanks John
