I'm trying to find a free (no sign up etc) car reg data checker like the RAC's: https://www.rac.co.uk/myrac/vehicle_data_check/ can anyone help?

I need a bit of cheering up at the moment so I'm buying one of these shortly (really wanted another 300, but want something a bit newer/more reliable and also I like a change from time to time). Is the v-spec the one to go for? Does anyone have any experience of them? how do they compare to the z in terms of performance/tuning etc? Any info would be great. thanks guys Ch

Hi Guy's Well the new owner of my z picked it up this afternoon. I had owned the car for 5 years and loved every minute of ownership, even if now and again i got a big bill. Steadily over the years i have got it looking better and better. 18" wheels, supra style spoiler, graphics etc etc. Nothing i have owned has come close to the looks i got every day i drove it. I sold it because my lads are getting too big to fit in the back!!. I'm still looking for my perfect zed...I can't seem to get my head round the prices. looking on auto trader there's similar spec'd cars starting at 3k going upto 7k. I don't want to dismiss the cheaper cars but I get the old more is better syndrome going on. which probably ain't true at all.....Help! How the heck do I decided what to pay. I've got a max of £6.5k and would prefer a black or silver car, gotta be a TT and not to bothered about auto or manual. anybody know of any cars that fit my buget and needs? I thought these where meant to be random numbers? I got 2 lucky dips and both started 10, 38, 47 A 10 12 20 38 42 47 Lucky Dip B 10 23 29 38 46 47 Lucky Dip I thought they where meant to be random. How the hell are they random. I know computers can not generate a random number, but the code to make it do so is totally naff. :mad:

I asked my girlfriend to help me steady the engine the other week as the crane was tending to lean to one side slightly. She shrieked "I can't do this I'm a woman" and let go of the chain. having my front and rear screen removed for spraying the car, the man from anglesey windscreens used to do all the work on the mazda 323 turbo rally car, so very soon we were chatting about the raised boost in my zed, i told him it was raised from standard 9psi to 13.5psi. what he said was if your in first gear flat out no mater for how long the temp in the turbo wouldent go above 300 degrees, for second no more than about 400 and 3rd about 500 but when in top gear he said the heat would carry on building up like a compressor cos the car is under load and if its going to go bang it will be this time flat out in top gear, intresting cos mine …
