Hi. Does anyone have any reccommendations for a good company to organise shipping my car from Japan to the UK? I'm currently in Japan with the car so maybe a Japanese (English speaking!) company would be more useful than a British one. Cheap is good. I just need a basic service, I can de-register myself and deliver and collect the car from ports. ;) Anyone done this before? Cheers. I'm looking forward to getting back to the UK on August 3rd. I'm planning to ship the car from Japan mid July so that I don't have to wait to long for it in the UK. Thanks a lot - Rory :smw:

Trying to install/upgrade from Windows 98 to XP Pro but hit a few minor problems! During the install several complaints about not being able to copy certain files over, so hit ESC to carry on then on the reboot XP kept getting stuck so had to revert back to 98. XP install did complain about the fact that Norton was running so I have just deleted all Norton Anti-Virus, Clean Sweap etc. Oh and when something in the install tried to write to the boot sector XP claimed that it was "Virus Like Activity!" WTF??? So just before I try again just wondered if any of you guys have anything to add that might help me out a tad? TIA

Afternoon :) Just received and fitted Danny's brake master cylinder brace, nice piece of kit. PITA lining up the 2nd bolt but got there under the 20min quoted fitting time ;) Just wish I'd got in on the first order, and I might have been out testing it now, instead of just admiring the looks of the hidden bling. Cheers Danny  Pete

Further to my last thread about installing XP...I have a second drive that I want to activate so that I can copy/backup some files (mainly porn LMFAO) over to before I nuke my primary drive for XP install. How do you add a second drive? I think the jumper is set to slave on the second drive, have used the cable from my primary disk to connect up the second one but when I do auto detect in the BIOS it sees bugger all about the second HDD. HELP!!! :( Primary at the moment is only 6GB and the seondary drive, which I think currently has Red Hat installed, is a Quantum Fireball at 40GB's. Muchos TIA.

I must say the 840 and 850 BMWs look pretty sweet and you can get one for OK money. What do you reckon? Are they any good?

Ok, how about this one - the 4.5 pushes a massive 420bhp through the rear tyres in standard form & reaches 0-60 in 3.9 secs, which can't be bad. It looks so much better than the skyline inside and out, and I hardly need to mention the noise... but does anyone have any experience of these? ie - reliability/handling etc? There seem to be loads out there for sale with very few miles on the clock. Any ideas? (other than the obvious insurance and fuel costs) Thanks again in advance, Ch

It's nice to see that my photographic skills are appreciated. As I see that two members are using pics taken by myself. One is in a members sig, and the other two are now in another members rides section. "Thanks for letting me use your photo's".................."Thats ok, don't mention it".................. Oh! Hang-on, you didn't!!!!!! Not bothered really if someone uses a pic of mine, as, after all, I did post them on here. But it would have been nice to have been acknowledged. If I use someone elses pics, I'll credit them such. OK, steps down from soap box now, as i'm in a shite mood at the mo.
