Body kit or not.... jeez... Cars going to the bodyshop next friday so I have to make my mind up pronto... I was planning on complete respray and bits of body work just to make it look as good as new. Now after looking at the zcentre site I really like a couple of the front bumbers, if I slap a '99 spec one or the scarab will the car look a bit stupid without sideskirts etc??? Not really very good with car styling and I'm worried it will end up looking like poo so I thought I'd ask you guys as you all seem to know your stuff (kiss ass)

Well, its taken me three months, to bling the engine up, change the water pump, recon the MS, change all the brakes, service everything, fit and sort all the new interior, fit the new bat, alarm box, clean off and re-seal the underside, and other blah blah blah niggly bits that needed doing!! Got it insured and MOT'd at the weekend, sailed through :D not one advisory. Put some rent in the window today! Wanted to take it for a test flight tonight but just got back after not quite finishing it yet :( Still got to put all the plastic trim and covers on underneath the car, and finish mounting / making a pod for the cruise control. All I can say is it's goin…

I just had a guy at the petrol station bragging to his mate that his Merc would wup my ass. It was a brand new C 270 or CL 270 and looked like a coupe type thing. He said he worked for a Merc dealer and reckoned it was 500bhp  I just looked at the model range and I can't find anything with 270 on it that isn't a 170bhp diesel! Am I wrong?! The guy was serious about racing me LOL

Had a real crap day today, on my way to our local garage to get my new RPS Max Clutch and Aasco Lightened Flywheel and a niggly long term Oil leak from the Sandwich plate above the oil filter sorted. Driving along I experienced the thing that none of us like to think about it's the kind of thing that you will read about exactly here and never imagine it will happen to you (But it can). THE DREADED BLUE SMOKE was bellowing out from the back of my car LIKE MY BLOODY GRANDADS COMPOST HEAP was on fire, you could see it from 300 yards and everyone was cutting me dirty looks of disgust and pointing and laughing (I was Gutted). Anyhoo I continued on to the local …

..........While she's getting a pre-billing pamper at the body shop, de-locked, aerial smoothed over and a general tidy up on the body and paint work (colour, wet polish, waxed and buffed)....... I'm going nuts without it, I REALLY miss driving the Z......... .......been biking to work and back (about a 12 mile round trip) each day this week, trying to get myself fit and hopefully it's working (I'm getting the times down, so it must be!!) I see people I pass each day at roughly the same place as when I'm in the Z (I pedal fast!) and I think "I could save myself some wedge if I use the bike for work" and then I see a Type-R, Scoob, Ricer, whatever I deem as fair …

Recently I fitted loads of new bits inc water pump etc and had to take the rad out to get to everything ok. There were two hoses at the bottom of the rad which were loose, I took them off and replaced the clips as they were knackerd. It looked like transmision fluid was leaking out of them or similar, any ideas? put it all back together, and an after thought was that if this is, then perhaps it may now have an air bubble in causing the box not to work as well as it should??? I havnt test driven it yet so cant tell, tomorrow will be the first drive before billing so I hope it all goes ok. Any ideas on the stuff comming out and if tranny fluid will it ha…
