Just had a local photographer round to my work to do a small feature on me passing my final exams. He was v interested in the zed, which I happened to bring to work today ;). So most of the shots of me have the zed in :D:D Open bonnet, standing out of the roof etc  Will scan and post up the articles when they come out. Think it'll be in a few papers locals round here, Rugby, Daventry, Leamington, Warwick, Stratford. Bit of fame for the 300ZX ;) Cheers Pete

Just been quoted £635 for a major service on my NA/Manual/SWB Jap Zed. This includes: Replacement of Cambelt + 3 ancilliary belts + check tensioners etc 6 iridium spark plugs Air filters Rad Flush + new antifreeze Fuel filter Oil + Filter change (Castrol synthetic) Renew gearbox + rear diff oil (Castrol oils) Brake fluid change De-glaze all brake discs All parts are genuine Nissan and the Service agent has done Zeds before. Does this all sound reasonable and is their anything else that should be checked/changed?? Work will take a day and a half to do - is that about right??

Just bought this vehicle (not a Z) from what I thought was a reputable trader. Took it down to 20 fathoms and was cruising along quite steadily, wasn't gunning it, honest, when the fecking thing went on fire. I'm now stuck 20 miles of the Irish coast and the bugger has lost all power and won't start. I've since heard that the people I bought it off are quite prone to telling porky pies and dodgy deals. Where do I stand legally, can I get my money back. Thanks for any advice. The Canadian Embassy. Lemon

Hi, Recently bought a Z which had a Tanabe Ultra Medallion Single pipe exhaust conversion. Do any of you guys know anything about this system as, to be honest, have never heard of Tanabe. Thanks Martin

i was just wondering what would happen if you didnt declare any mods based on th fact that u wernt aware of any i mean, all th insurers ask "are you aware of any modification that have been carried out on th vehicle?" what would happen if you simply said "no" and pleaded ignorance if you ever had to make a claim and got caught out? obviously some mods are more blatant than others and you wdnt get away with not declaring bodykits and alloys (unless you kept a spare stock set just in case). but wot about, for example, engine internals? or turbos? what do you guys reckon? yaseen

As I've said recently, we all know the oil pressure gauges are prone for mis-readings due to the sender clogging up. But I was wondering what the reason for a healthy reading on start up and then gradually dropping to more or less 0 would be. My pea brain can't work it out. Thanks.

 Does anybody know of any workshops that actually know what they are doing with these cars? I've searched high and low to find someone honest that will work on my z and all i get are brickwalls, in the 1 1/2 yrs ive had the car it's spent no more than 6 weeks on the road and all beacuse of one problem (this is not the forum to go into about here) Just incase anyone suggets him it's currently at jeff's place (Z world) don't get me wrong fantastic guy the most trust worthy guy yet but he doesn't deal with turbo's and rebuilds which is where my problem lies. Any help would be appreciated as i am losing faith in these cars.

My mother-in-law who is 81 years old offered to make some 'Z' badges for my car carpets. She has a fancy sewing machine. I asked for black and silver to match the car. Three hours later she had setup the machine and produced these..fantastic job. Each badge has 14,000 stitches and takes 35 mins to produce. She is too old to register as a 'trader' but thought I might sell some on ebay. Martin

Has any one played this? I wasnt too sure about it but now I think its great. Not many games you can just pick up for 5mins and then leave it. The staged bring back memories as do the cars and I am happy to say they have kept the original theme tunes. :D playing online it great too. :D

Had a panic today! somebody shot my car! For my sins I run a paintball site on the weekends and some bugger managed to wing a paintball over the safety netting and splat my new paintwork!!! the git! thankfully no dent! which actually got me thinking, anybody fancy a 300zx.co.uk day (or a morning) shooting each other? the venue is based outside reading so may be a bit far for a lot of you (http://www.cspaintball.co.uk) would of course only charge cost for the day for subscribed members :) I guess sometime in the next 6-8 weeks would be best before it gets too cold and miserable! Let me know what you think, would need about 20 people to make it worthwhi…
