hi everyone, im new to the forum. Thinking about getting my first 300zx. Just wanted to know a little information about the cars, any specifics problems to look out for when viewing. Im going to look at a tommy kaira jap import non turbo v6 targa. Anyone know if these are any good? Im familiar with tommy kaira, just never seen a 300zx one by tommy

i hope it looks worse than it actually is, heres praying the chasis hasn't been damaged or bent. the car is still driveable and the steering hasnt been affected so thats a good sign. if anyone has any of the parts i need in the right colour give me a call. thanks

As it says, I'm off to Norway tomorrow for 6 weeks on an Arctic Survival course. First 2 weeks is training out in the cold, making igloos and survival drills. After that its just maintaining the Army helicopters and hopefully lots of skiing! Do you guys reckon my Zed will be ok parked outside and not driven for 6 weeks or should I get a mate to take it for a spin once a week?????

Am trying to get my old band's album re-mastered onto CD, and wondered if anyone (preferably in the Midlands area) had the technology/know-how to do it for me. I ask for Midlands as I'm a bit reluctant to post the DAT, as it's the last remaining digital copy of our album, and it's worth too much to us to get lost in the post - forever!! Having said that, we no longer have ANY other copies of the CD!!! How lame is that!! I can't believe it i'm on holiday in Singapore and thought i may aswell check out the prices for parts for the Z, it is so cheap compared to the UK, i have just managed to buy a Cambelt, all auxilary belts, waterpump, tensioner and idlers for less than a hundred quid!(all OEM parts!) I think the water pump was only about 17 quid! I'm in shock, but at least my 60k service is going to be bloody cheap. Well its a damb good start to the year for the Z, if only i had come sooner i would be a rich man!

Ok what was the best thing you bought for your Z last year in your opinion Don't mean something which suppost to give 3bhp extra in the wet cos it says so on the box! It has to be you favorite purchase! Right, my favorite mod for the 300 last year was.... a pioneer car mp3 player really chuffed with it (I've never really bothered with the ICE thing) Sound is excellent and the journey time is getting longer and using more petrol :cool: also Its the only thing I managed to get around to getting in/on the car :rolleyes:

three days with out a smoke gone from a heavy smoker to nothing over night thought it would be worse , do feel a little disorientated and a sore thumb :)

To all you lot who may have laptops with mobile internet access laptops. Dont say the police dont tell you nothing cause as a copper im about to save you some money!!! The latest scam with stealing laptops from cars goes as follows: Mobile internet access uses very similar equipment as bluetooth on most mobile phones, thats why i can get full internet access on my new mobile, ie 3G mobile phone/ laptops. Thiefing *******s now use mobile phones to track down which car has a laptop inside it even if they cannot see it. What they do is activate their bluetooth on their phone and set it to "detect other devices". They then walk around a car park and use…

notas some of you know i broke my windscreen trying to fix window vent :cry: then much to my amusement starter motor has just fookin died :cry: 1st thing gone wrong with my z mechanically in almost a year of ownership :cool: shame the misses dont see it that way [all i get is "THAT FOOKIN CAR"] LOL oh well 5k so far spent... £50 more wont hurt always round xmas aswell
