Two w*****s tried to steal my ZX this morning, but they were caught by the police!!! The scum sound like Dumb & Dumber. They tried to steal the car at 8.50 this morning! They were spotted by an off-duty copper who phoned in and they sent a car out and nabbed them red-handed. They parked their car behind mine and the coppers found their car-breaking tools inside it. They have also dusted my car for prints. Just got back from the police station to give my statement and both of the scum have previous for stealing cars. Nice to see the police can catch more than speeders! As a result of this I have decided to sell my ZX. I have not used it since t…

Well it is over a year ago but the time has come :nana2:  :nana2:  :nana2:  My Z is now running,Peter had a small problem with the idle as I am running such large injectors, but that is now sorted and will be staying with him for a few days at least until he is 100% happy with it,before he lets her come home. PS sounds very strange on idle with the Pentroof manifolds

Felt like sh1te this morning, but thought that I'd get as much done on the car as I could. So got the rad back in, then found out I've got a problem with the hose fittings on my nice shiney Smithy's Rad Pipe kit :( so decided to do some soldering and put some of my new conectors on the car. Now there were no problems doing that (apart from the cold weather), but I think I've stayed out in the cold far too long today, and I now feel ten times worse :( So I went to bed at about three this afternoon, finally stopped shaking at about five, then got up at six'ish and now feel really crap! So I'm gona get the Southern Comfort out and then go to bed. So if anyone can he…

My car went in on sat for the ice install. They gave me one seriously battered 200sx, More dents than anything ive ever seen , so many rust holes looks like swiss cheese. Shocks have gone , Knocking noise from under back of car, blown exhaust, petrol guage not working, handbrake light permanently on, bald tyres, clutch slipping and engine on its way out. And as for the turbo, well u cant even tell it has one !!!!!!!!! They dont normally offer anyone a courtest car of any sort, i can now see why !! ha ha :smash: :smash:

What is the Ultimate engine config for MAHOOOOSIVE power that is reliable.. I have seen the 10 second zed with stock internals.... but there could be an ultimate wish list for a ZED engine.. what would it be. Not worried about cost, just the end results... but also am interested in traditional tuning techniques as well as all the best bolt on goodies. After all that what would be the outcome? The only stipulation is that it has to be reliable (so no race engine specs that need a reuild every 1000 miles)... Come on, Indulge me.... Ryan at Ztech has just rebuilt one of my Zeds.. (thanks Ryan - you are a star!).. I might make my other one a real mons…

Spent about an hour today making up and fitting 4 new earth wires with connectors. In red and yellow of course :D:D:D I made sure all the earthing points I connected them too were nice and shiney and conductive ;) Very easy job with a soldering iron, screwdriver and 10mm spanner ;) Immediately upon startup I noticed the idle settled straight to 800rpm whereas normally it would spend a few seconds dropping from 1,200rpm. Idle noise was smoother. I blipped the throttle whilst stationary and the change was obvious. I didn't think anything was out of order before but now the revs react quicker to stabbing the throttle, and the exhaust note is smoother and the rise i…

I've discussed this with some of you before, well I've just spent the last hour installing the code to do this. This is pretty much in beta at the moment even the developers havn't released a 100% stable version. I still need to work on the images but its useable at the moment http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=98 Basically as a subscribed member you can start your own journal, hopefully this will make it easier for those of you doing services/rebuilds/being active p1ss heads/ having babies/ just living your life to let us know how you are getting on with things. users will be able to comment on your entry but this will not show up on the main p…

I was bored tonight so I thought I would have a play and knock this up Its tatty and covered in glue but it have given me the template to make more. Also a pic of my mstation which I will install next week. The screen is going to be soley for use with Conzult on a permanent connection through my "behind dash" laptop. The empty slot will house the DVD player which will inturn run the 10.2"" rooftop screen. I will not be needing the CD or MD kenwood system any longer so will take pics and put them in the for sale section.

Is there anyone in the north west who would be willing to take out my heater matrix? I have started it but lost the will to live after 2 hours of not making any progress. I'm trying to remove it with the dash in place and have taken everything off to get to the black control box, and thats it. I obviously can't drive it to far but i would also like to see how it is done as well. PM me for my number. Thanks, Stu.
