General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Yep I think it is time to move on. I have had lots of wonderful years with my Z and with the new friends I have made here, but there are lots of other cars out there which I have an urge to try. There is life beyond a 300ZX For example I saw a car on the road which I think demands more respect on the road than the Z and I think that is a good place to start. I know I will get a lot of backlash from people on here for selling up but that is expected, its a part of being on this forum, but owning my selected car will make up for it all, but I think some of you will understand when you see the pic of the car I saw today. …

2 weeks ago while on a call out at 7am in Glasgow quite close to the City Centre, a First Glasgow Scania being driven by a brainless steering wheel attendant ran into the back of the lorry I was trying to start (it was broken down in the bus lane) at about 25 mph while I was standing at the front drivers side with the cab up turning the key. probably been discussed before but I was wondering what programs people use to download a few tunes etc I tried winmx but it is a pain in the ass I know its free but I like it when I can actually down load things. not to sit in a queue only for the download to be turned red for me or turn red anyway even if theres no queue. the amount of times it turned red outweighs the amount of successful downloads 6/1,, Im sharing files aswell so its not as if Im a leech or whatever they call you.. I need to get a custom exhaust made up for the fireblade. Anyone know of anywhere? Preferably shandy land rather than flat cap and whippet.

Tried taking the 300 to the mot station todaycould not get it to run on all six I suspect one of the plugs is fouled up :( put it back in the drive and some how its locked the door with the keys still in the ignition :mad: any one know any good ways of getting in these things (apart from using a key) have thrown a few fcuks at it an it aint helped!! the ignition is on and I have the bonnet up all i need to do is push the window release button or some how unlock it??? could some one pm me or post up a way of getting in cheers john

Danny I was up at PPS yesterday,I was looking round your car when Peter was moving it and this is the first time I have seen the defi gauges illuminated.They are the best I have ever seen :bow: and am really thinking about replacing mine. I think we pay around £200 per gauge over here so I may have to give it a little more thought as I need 5 LOL.

I always thought my auto zed pedals were quite nice, shiny with stylish holes in, and I often wondered why people paid out for expensive aftermarket ones :confused: when the stock ones look great. I was working in the drivers footwell last night and noticed some small wording on the pedals: "RAZO" :rofl::rofl::nelson: What other secret mods have peple found after ages? I was coming up to about 5/6 cars behind a slow moving truck on the A45 (dual carriageway fyi) the other day. Ahead the road narrows to one lane for roadworks. I pass the 800 yds sign (ie fooking miles lol) so blat the 200 down to 2nd gear and overtake the cars. The truck sees this and for some reason known only to himself, swerves across into my lane to stop me passing! :wack: :mad: Causing me to break v v hard down to about 40/50 from much much higher) and then struggle to get in behind him becasue of the trail of cars bunched up.
