Guys (and gals) Just a bit of advice. Got my classic insurance through from Houghtons this week. 5000 miles limitation. Very happy with the price which was £260 fully comp. However, if any others have got this insurance it is worth checking both the certificate and schedule as they can differ. My Certificate stated "no use for business" (which is fair enough) but the schedule stated "no use for commuting to work". Although my car is not a daily drive I certainly use it to go to work now and again and see little point in having an insurance that would not cover for this purpose. Phoned Houghtons and they were very helpful and immediately offered to include "travel…

I cannot believe my luck today Leeds area bikey coppers  I was squirting down the M1 at a fairly clear point, weather was clear, traffic was light.. I was on the naughty side of 110 - and as you do, I checked the mirror and lo and behold, 20yds behind there was a Bikey Bobbie. I moved into the middle lane and reduced my speed to 80 odd expecting the flashy light to come on, where he accellerated up beside me, gave me a scowl, wagged his finger & motioned with his hand for me to slow it down a bit (patting head motion) I got a red face, and he sped on his merry way. I can't believe it - a fair cop! as I was obviously not driving dangerously a…

Found this today while trawling the web :) It shows all Nissan's cars, including designs and some very interesting prototypes all in downloadable format (hi-res, black and white and low-res). Definately worth a look. Leigh. http://www.nissannews.com/multimedia/nd_50_anni.shtml

Having suffered months of :headvswal hell caused by ignorant suits and full-of-it tech gurus, I am looking for a way out - so back to the 300zx forum, natch! :p Legrath has had some good advice (ta) but I now need to put it into action. For which I need someone who isn't going to use my project as a learning curve and isn't going to charge suit money (aka "the wounded bull tariff"). So if anyone out there can speak XML, can build a user database and knows what ePDQ is, PM or email me. Pleeeeeease :D

Oh YES!!!!!!!!! I'm picking her up in the morning. This is the second time I've had the new front bumper sprayed, but this time it also went in to have the rear bumper and the front centre panel done. I've also found out why the paint was darker on the new front bumper, and when I had the rear end smoothed last year the paint was a perfect match. The front end is a different colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some tw@ in the past has had the front end resprayed in a different shade (lighter) to the proper AH3............. What a :xxx: :slap: But anyway, i'll be picking her up (following a rather intensive blending exercise at the …
