Sold the Diesel DS3 which was just 7 months old, So now the Z is our only car. Basically, I work less than a mile from home, so ordered a cycle as a car cant even warm up in that time. Im working in a very cold food enviroment, so even whilst cold outside in the winter, its still warmer outside than in work lol. Have only driven 120 miles in 5 weeks between the two cars - 100 of which were in the Z anyway lol. Some may think Im crazy Selling a car acheiving 60mpg average fuel consumption, keeping the Zed, but I feel Im not really going to save that much by keeping the DS3 over the Z. Managed to get £14,500 for the Citroen which was owned outright, so it has…

Having broken or sold the last couple of Zed's i have found myself with a large space on the drive. Therefore, i've gone a bit retro and bought a mercedes 190e :) Pretty much finished the look on it now just need leather interior, a potential 2.6 engine and awaiting the missing trim (damn it was a nightmare tracking down a good s/h part for a pre '88!) :)

For anyone with a BT business phone package a heads up on a spam mail we got today advising us of improvements to the service and usual click thorugh links to guide you through it. The email to be fair was very realistic with all of the banners and correct companies house number at the bottom etc. the give away is they don`t know your name of course, which if they were BT they would. Quick trace revealed some bouncing around with an unlikely Austrailan source! any techies care to enlighten the less pc literate what any of the following means other than them trying to cover there tracks. Jeff TT Received: from HESA03UKER.HE.LOCAL ([10.87.8.23]) …

I know we have a great club here with a wealth of knowledge so hoping sombody might know this. We are going to start a new build project - a one bed bungalow between two other houses. We are friendly with the neighbours, however one of our walls is right on the boundary, where there are some vent extracts discharging onto our land. Now I know that is technically illegal, however they have been there for around 20 years, so I think they now have a right! The neighbour has said that legally, as it is illegal to block them and we have to pay for the re routing of them within his property. So the question is - do we have to pay for this, and what cons…

I bought a sat screen off eBay last October for my Astra. However, after a few problems with the seller taking my money and not being able to contact him I've only just received it today! I've already resprayed my centre console so I don't really need it anymore or know what to do with it. I would like to put it in the car as I like the idea of having an integrated sat nav system, even though I go to the same places all the time. I don't know where to start with it so looking for some help. Ive got a few pictures on the link below of the front and back of the screen (it's the blue console). I don't know if I could link up a DVD player or a sat nav system. It's not a touch…

Any pro's semi pro's or people here that actually know about these things? Im after one for work. I work less than a mile from home, would be nothing less than stupid o drive to work, so thought I would use their cycle to work scheme to get 52% discount on a bike upto a maximum of £1000. I have found two I like the look of, but I know zilch about push bikes lol. If you know anything about bikes, can you take a look at the specs, let me know if its made up of good components, or pretty average. Maybe even make a better suggestion? These are the two I found that I like: Cannondale Trail SL4 2012 Specialized Rockhopper 2012

Flipping spam mail again, this is sick though. Jeff Hi My name is Mrs Yetunde Owolabi from Republic of Benin, I gave birth to twins, 2 babies (Boy and Girl) at a time after the death my husband on 18th of November 2011 by auto car accident. Already we have received 4 children from God, right now I can’t take care of them so I have decided to give them out for adoption, if you are interested let me know, I am not selling them but you will only pay for adoption fees to the ministry in concern. Thanks, Mrs. Yetunde Owolabi

Whilst Julia and I were in the Isle of Wight a couple of weeks ago, we returned to our hotel one afternoon to find a gorgeous 1950s Mercedes in the car park. It was a 1959 220s convertible on German plates. I got chatting with the owner over pre-dinner drinks - a very nice old German chap; who also happened to guess that I owned the Z parked next to it - he imported the Merc from California (hence the amazing rust-free condition) and he took me out for a spin the following morning!! It was a nice surprise to our holiday!! Richard:thumbup1:
