Gents, 2 weeks ago I advertised a Porsche dashboard for sale on eBay, it didn't sell but someone watching it on eBay contacted me and made an offer, He asked about the dash if it was in good nick or had been repaired, I replied that it had come straight out of a car that was having a suade dash fitted instead, I sent him plenty of pictures, also said I would prefer him to come and view before he picked it but he couldn't so he agreed he was happy with the pictures Now after he has had the dash and two weeks after he is saying the dash is in bad nick not as described and wanting his money back, I replied saying that it was sold as seen, and that I had d…

HI Guys, if ant of you IT guys can help i'd appreciate it. I upgraded my PC from a 8yr old Dell workstation to a newer Dell Optiplex 745, 2gz with 3 gb ram. Now i have attached a USB drive where i store my films, when this was attached to the old PC i shared the drive and could watch film on another PC via wireless to the hub then via cable to the host PC. However no this host PC has changed, when i try to watch anything there is awful buffering delays which i never had on the previous PC. Oh, this new pc even has a 1gb connection to the hub.. Can anyone help decipher what is happening. Rich

keep me going for a year or so, only paid £475 for it at the sales it needs a clutch (still works but high) and the fan blower doesnt work, but taxed till end of sep and motd till end of month, loads of scratches on it aswell, most will buff out, been someones second car, dont think it had ever been washed lol anyway its a focus 1.6 zetec comfort, leccy windows, air con, but the shocker is its really nice to drive, apart from the clutch it feels solid and comfortble, wouldnt mind an RS if they drive like this what do ya's think

  9. It's very good, and very unnerving. All you need to do is find 8 notes hidden in a forest... but don't look at the Slenderman... http://www.shacknews.com/file/32249/slender-beta-09-windows-free-game 0BswJKtn_9o

It's not v fast or exciting but after a lot of discussion (& after throwing a lot of money we don't have on older cars) we bit the bullet & bought an almost new daily driver for the next few years. It's on finance (gulp, I hate having debt) but its still cheaper taking into account all the running costs, than our previous cars. Just need to keep at it at Uni for the next two years (just got 80% & 71% in my exams, yay!) then I can get back into a Zed with any luck!

I would just like to say thank you to gurteen0 (Ade) for going above and beyond for a fellow 300zx.co.uk member. I purchased an item from eBay, but it needed picking up from London. Ade very kindly went and picked it up for me, packaged it up really well, and let me send a courier to pick it up from him. He would not take a penny off me for time, fuel or beer, but when we see each other at a meet, I will repay his kindness. It is these kind of gestures that really make 300zx.co.uk by far the best site for Zed owners in the UK. So thanks Ade, it's folks like yourself that make 300zx.co.uk a pleasure to be a member of.......:bow:

Hi Guys, I have a W reg Nissan Terrano that has a problem. I use it to drop the jetskis in the water at our jetski club so it in and out of 4wd all the time and when I started it the other day it would not move. It felt like the handbrake was on so I rocked it back and forth until it freed. I reversed it back and bang, it was like the handbrake had been wrenched on. I managed to get it off the drive and put it from 2h to 4h to engage the front wheels and then back to 2H and rolled it to disengage them. All seemed fine so I set off. 20 yards down the road and bang again the back wheels locked up and I ground to a halt. The handbrake only had half the travel now? I can…

Well Jr. had his very first interview for his very first job today, and nailed it.....Brilliant, it's only until he starts full time education again in September, and is in a cafe in St. Helens which isn't too far from us. Can't be bad, and will give him some money in his pocket.

It's my birthday today, so me and my friend toddled off to Frankie and Benny's for a chilled out evening. All was going well until a group of around 30 children of around eleven years of age suddenly descended on the place and took up an entire wall of tables. There were adults with them, in fact one old bloke was videoing them, while the children were shouting, screaming and bouncing on the chairs. Everybody in the place that wasn't part of this troop ended up staring mortified at them as you couldn't speak to each other over the racket. They then began popping all the balloons in the room, whether they were on their tables, or those of others who were eating there, it m…
