just got back from Germany where i had a course with Merc. we had a preview of the new S class due out late this year, the latest gizmo to be fitted is........................................... night vision assist! yup - were having a night vision IR camera mounted on the front of the car, this will send an image to the sat nav screen mounted on the top of the dash. its pretty bonkers but the demo i saw seems very effective showing up cars & people…

Bloody good week again. And christ it was hot! The roundabout at Houx Annexe was rubbish compared to the last two times I've been, but still a damn good show from a Nobal (see vid) and a caterham. Right, I fully expect the sarcastic remarks etc, etc As you lot know, I had to sell my Zed several months ago due to reasons that I wont go into right here and now. Will have another, hopefully by the summer of next year ! :rolleyes: (cross fingers) Any hoo, went back to the yanks as a cheap alternative to tide me over. Here is a photo of my 86 IROC. Well, what a great day. Got to meet a few guys today for the 1st time. Not too sure I got to see everyone. I sure as hell knw I didnt meet as many as should have been there. To all you guys and gals that didnt come you missed a top time. Watched Mr Slick Top Pete become the UK's Fastest NA. And got to put some twat of a Rspec whatever right behind me when he took the piss. Watched a Girl wast a R34 under 13secs. Congrats to MaxSunny (Paul) not only a top bloke, but his cars top as well. came 3rd in the show and shine. Love that paint mate. Then there was our mate Uncle Chunkle who decided to get a fantastic launch and leave it in 1st the twat.....…

How do you guys who have disabled it cope? Anyway last night was so hot I could not sleep so decided to sit in the Z with the A/C on for an 30min, thank the zed God's for A/C!
