Hello, shameless plug, but tonight I'm on ITV coast and country at 8pm. They're doing an episode about RAF Valley and I think I'll have a decent part, I filmed quite a bit with a weather girl Ruth Wignall, out on the cliffs talking about SAR :) Unfortunately I think it's only showing on ITV wales though :-/ Ah well, keep an eye out if you're watching it later :thumbup:

So, after nearly 7 years of owning my Vectra, the time has come to upgrade. I will actually miss it, been a great car over the years and has never let me down. Took the plunge and bought a Jaguar XF 3.0V6d and I'm picking it up tomorrow. What a car, I can't wait!

I now have paint missing from rear bumper, scrape marks on top of the tailgate and a crack below the O/S/R light unit........ looks awfully like a flatbed pickup has hit her, just like someone who lives very close to me owns!!!!! Guessing that as it's not easy to scrape the top of a tailgate and leave black marks........ After the other week watching him reverse into another neighbours car TWICE..... he backed up and hit it, got out and looked for damage, got in truck and did exactly the same manoeuvre cracking neighbours rear window in the process. So I've decided after years of putting it off to go to Japan in March of next year, something I've wanted to do for many years now, but kept it on the back burner. Part of it will be spent with a friend who's stationed at one of the US bases in Okinawa, a southerly tropical island, so I'll fly down there from Tokyo and be taken care off. I do however want to check out both Nagoya (where my Z spent the first half of its life) and Tokyo. Whilst being a pretty seasoned traveler, I've yet to go any further east than India. I'll confess, I'm a little unhappy about having my thread locked for the reason of "back door trading!" I purposely avoided any kind of serious response to any members who expressed an interest who aren't signed up for the group buy, and yet still the keys came jangling...
