I was on my way home from work at 5pm and where i work 5pm traffic is really bad and you do a lot of stopping and starting, so here i am driving along and i glance in th rear view mirror to see a lady in a Clio behind, i then noticed every time we stopped she would grab a magazine off the passenger seat and start reading and taking a bite from a sandwich and having a drink. I noticed she did this every single time and when we had all moved forward she would still be sat there reading  then quickly glance up when the cars behind started beeping, is this a common thing?? or was she just a flaming loony. :smash:

Donald: We are twins. I am a bit older, however. Davey: Yes, Donald is three months older than myself. I was born in 1812 overture, so I am forty. Donald: I was born in 1941, so I am definitely 40. We don't like to mention this, though, as it can put the girls off. We were born in Shildon, the north-east, Durham. Davey: Our dad was a gypsy. Donald: No he wasn't, Davey man! He worked on a railway, and in the evenings he would go out with a dead tarty woman. He would return covered in pigeon feathers. Davey: We take after our mam. She was an Indian princess. Donald: She was lying man, Davey! Davey: No she was not. It is you who is ly…

It's a bit of a hobby in the Royal Marines to phone random people up and send them a c**k message and put the phone down (I know you can grow up or you can join the forces!).Two of the lads in work were sending large c**k messages over the email system. Today one of them added the 'send to all' address by mistake. We phoned him to congratulate him and he was already heels together in front of the adjatent getting a good debriefing! Doh. He'd sent the message to all the staff officers, the commanding officer, the regimental sgt major, everyone. :xxx:   :xxx: Living legend.

Is how helpful people can be. for example, I needed a part from the rear of a speedo to finish off a set of uk dials i got cheap , Hellraiser came back to me and is sending me the part completely free !! I also needed some software for video editing- viniboy comes through again on that and is sending me a disk !! and he already sent me one with the repair manual on it , again completely free. Ryan ( ztech ) helps constantly with advice and on the occasions that the car has had problems has always gone out his way to help including coming out on a snowing saturday night late to let my car into his yard and even dropped me at a local travelodge and sorted the car for me on…

....just been for a three and a half mile swim in the sea! Swam across the plymouth bay, nearly got run over by a 15,000 tonne ferry on the way back. Nice though, could see people drinking in the pubs and pointing out to sea wondering why the f*ck some one was swimming half a mile out in the bay as it was getting dark. Me reckless....nah. The currents round the headlands were a bit dodgey though ,could only just swim against them. Bit nervy feeling, like when you know you're going a little too fast round that corner in the Zed. I want to take a waterproof camera next time as you see views that no one would ever see normally. Dave

Looks like this could be useful for he people who are always enquiring about how to resize images etc Picasa: Google's Simple Image Management and Manipulation Program Got lots of digital pictures but having trouble keeping them organized? Need a way to do simple image cleanup and manipulation but don't want to shell out the big bucks for a program like PhotoShop? There are a number of alternatives, and we've mentioned some of them in previous issues of the newsletter. Another that a lot of folks like is Picasa, which is distributed by Google as a free download. It will scan your computer to find all the pictures (even those you forgot you had), let you do simpl…

It's after 1am in the morning and I'm sat here next to the computer stretching fabric over my fibreglass dash copy, getting the shape right ready to apply some resin. I think I need therapy! Any other partial insomniacs find they get the urge to do mad Zed related stuff at stupid o' clock at night? :D
