Hi all had a great day out yesterday at the JAE. It's nice to talk to owners about the history of their cars etc. There were some stunning examples of jap technology in the club site & in the whole JAE venue. All in all it was the best ten quid I have spent in a long while!! :hyper:

Is anyone else having problems with the site? If I use the above address I actually get http://www.bargain-flights.co.uk I'm confused. I've now changed my internet options to http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums and I can access our site.

Got this turbo off ebay. Just wondering how hard it is to re-route the Zeds piping to fit it in. Thought I might put the turbo in the boot and buy 10 sets of smithy's shiny pipes to connect it. If I fill the boot with water that will help with cooling to. Might need bigger induction and exhaust to match it. Has anyone done a similar upgrade? what was the lag like?? Dave :smash:

Well thought I would tidy up some of the wiring on my car, last night I took the stereo out as there was a couple of wires I wanted to solder rather than have crimp connectors, did that put the stereo back in the left it till the morning. Go out this morning to do the wiring on my PTU, I have the series2 PTU and wanted to get rid of the wiring adaptor and solder the wires, do all that and the car wont start, wont turn over at all so spent the day pulling my hair out, redoing everything and thinking maybe its something completely different thats wrong. It was, after 4 hours redoing things taking bits apart etc, I thought "I didnt knock the autobox into gear last night whil…

Below is a quote from UJCC (Ultimate jap car club forum). This happened before I joined but looks to be a very good meet that barrie (rip) would have loved. I will be doing all I can to get there, it would be nice if some others here go to. Dave As many of you know, earlier this year we lost a great friend and member of ours in a tragic car accident.... Barrie Harcombe aka Bazdaman on the forums. I won't go into great detail about this again, if you wish to know more then view this thread.... http://ultimatejapcars.co.uk/forum//index.php?showtopic=8086 As a mark of respect for Barrie we are going to hold a MASSIVE meet for him as we know he would…

From Wed 29th June roadworks will commence on M1 between J20 and J21. Lower-noise surfacing begins on Fri 8th July. Will take 20 weeks  Advance work will start Wed 29th but will not affect road users. Traffic management starts on Fri 8th July and involves 24-hour work with 3 lanes of traffic open in both directions using narrow lanes and contra-flows. A 24-hour 40MPH speed limit will be in operation. SPECS cameras will monitor average speeds along this route and anyone exceeding an average of 40 will be liable to prosecution. Over and out.

Bah, I got a summons for speeding back in Feb (why do they always wait *right* until the 6months is nearly up, eh? Cruel!), so I'm after a decent solicitor for advice/mitigation letter - the offence was down in Nottingham, and I live in Warrington now, so it seems better to let them sort this out in my absence than waste fuel and time going down there to mess it up in person. Also, I'm wary about driving down there now, since Derby traffic cops seem to have a habit of aggressive tailgating at night - several times I've had something glued to my backside, lights blinding me, seemingly trying to encourage me to speed the hell up, only to find it was a police car pushing me …

  25. I was just thinking of how far some members have got to travel to get there. Amazing dedication in the name of fun. I basically live just down the road about 40 miles..... And I think the furthest traveller should get some kind of prize? I know this is similar to Karls poll but is more directed at travelling and not location.
