so when did petrol prices in france decide to sky rocket then got back from my trip to the dordoigne yesterday 1300 miles round trip, no z problems at all :) all my paranoia and the huge bag of bits i took with me werent needed at all - some lovely roads as well - lots of inquisitive looks and i think half of the bug population of france splatted on my bumper and a nice caking of dust everywhere else - think its going to take some scrubbing to get clean petrol though - last time i went to france it was about half the price of ours over hear but now has gone up loads - even the supermarket 98ron was about 127 euros which i think is about 87p only slightly c…

I forgot how fast it was, I still have a load of mods to do but I am putting it back on the road as I need to take it to have work done. The only thing i noticed that while braking the steeering wheel juddered from side to side but hopefully this will go when i fit Ohlins adjustable suspension and Nismo upper and lower adjustable arms topped off with 18" alloys and Michelin F1 tyres. But i am glad to be driving it again. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:

I understand this very much. You spend thousands of pounds on your car intending to improve it. Only to get ripped off and have it wrecked by people who claim to know what they are doing. They promise 2 weeks and take 7 months, They claim they haven't damaged your pristine new from the paint shop bodywork and don't want to pay. They do nothing to replace parts that have gone missing from your car whilst in their care even though you have informed them that you whish them returned on more than one occation and over a period of nine months. Shit they even sit on the end of the phone and say you know I'm a straight Guy. Well straight Guy if your reading this lets ask y…

Heya! This is Brian from outside Warrington Homebase this afternoon :) Sorry I had to rush off but my mate had to catch a train back to Manchester :S Thought I'd post to let you know who I am on here, and wish you good luck sorting out the car - if you do a search for C&S Woods, you'll see Phil gets alot of praise. Highly recommended :) Anyway, get it sorted so I can scav a ride in it :P I've never been in a TT before, and I've always preferred the yellow to my red :'( Was good to talk with ya, bud :)

Hi all Just bought a new PC to replace decrepit old laptop. Question is, how do I transfer all my old data - mainly photos and documents etc - to the new one easily. Bear in mind, old PC has no CD recorder and new one has no floppy disc drive. Could I use a home network and link them together by cable, then extract info from the old one? If so, how do I do it? Suppose I could use USB pens but would probably need a dozen ;) Also need to copy email address book...... Any thoughts/ideas welcome. Thanks, Richard

Over the last few months, the car was beginning to look a little tired, so I decided to put her in for a makeover. I was told of a guy who was a bit handy with bodywork. After several long talks I thought yeah he sounds ok. The car was booked in and the new parts ordered. The job was basically to knock out a few dents, remove the rear lights, fit the new rear light panel and paint the hole car. Well this was three months aggo. The work all started well. All the repairs were looking good. But then it all started to go down hill. He had started painting It, but it was looking like he was painting it one panel at a time. I was getting concerned now. Went to have …
