General Discussions - Non 300ZX

I'm looking into importing some parts from the states. What is the process and costs involved??? from the supplier right to my door?

Just spoke to Ryan at ZTech ...sorted my zed to be picked up on 3rd oct for a well earned going over , sport clutch , lightened flywheel , underdrive pulley set 60k service , AC recharge and sort out my zeds wagging tail ....and wobbly propshaft support bearing first time i have ever spoken to the guy and nothing seemed too much trouble for him very helpfull gave great advice , like a breath of fresh air, he is another zed nut obvioulsy ........for once i feel relaxed about some one else geting their mitts on my motor ...... :bow:

I have been asked to find as many: "WORDS THAT ARE SPELT THE SAME BUT HAVE DIFFERENT MEANINGS" ie: lead and lead. one as in leadership the other the dense soft metal? So there you have it folks. can you help please? Thanks Vince

Just took some pix of my new bike with the 300 and thought I would share them. I didnt want to cram up my rides section with them so posted them on here. I dont know how to post them proper yet so attatchments is all I can do. The bike needs the paint sorting but has a lot of potential and has only done 9000 miles. I do like it better than the XJR1200 although it hasnt got the grunt and is a bit slower on acceleration. What do you think?

saw a car today,, had the word omen on it, looks weird, V8 mid mounted motor, dont think it was a kit car, or a one off, looks like it could go on water as well as land, saw it at a power boat meet at Oulton broad sunday. Any of you guys know about this car (boat). Sorry guys no snap shots of it,,,, but if you see it,, YOU WOULD NEVER FORGET IT. It was FOOOOOKING MAAAD. :shock:

Got to wondering what's the strangest song title any of you have come across. Was spinning a few of my old 45's this afternoon and came across a track by a group called The Dole (from Peterborough I think) with the rather unusual title of "Hungry Men No Longer Steal Sheep Bit Are There Hanging Judges??" Got anything stranger than that???????

I've had a Zed (Import TT auto) which cost me a lot of money and leaked oil on the drive and was sold for the wrong reasons, and I've also had a 200zx on which nothing went wrong but it was er... boring. I liked my MR2 (MKII)but that was 15 years ago and I'm a tad stouter now. Mid life crisis is arriving and I'm not enough of a nutter to get a bike. So I find myself with a bob or three in the back pocket and a hankering for a car that will kick me in the seat of the pants. Convertible or T-Top is preferred, a degree of reliability is hoped for, heaps of fun is a must. Should I get back into Zed ownership? It would be a Funday drive so is a TT the way to go …

I've not picked up a pencil since I was in school 15 years ago, but suddenly got the urge to do some drawings the other day. I was feeling creative and felt like putting a few of my bodywork modification ideas down on paper. Just scribbled this one of how my car looks at the moment, shame the front wheel looks like it hit a kerb!! :(
