I want to get a set of metric metric combination spanners. I would really like a set that the open end doesn't flare open over stiff nuts and round them off as the cheap set i've been using does. Any suggestions? Im not really in the market for Snap On stuff, as great as it is. Also..... What are your opinions on 6 and 12 point closed ends on spanners? 6 points grip better but with there being less positions available for it to slide on does this sometimes cause grief in tight situations? Cheers

Hi folks, Julia and I have been watching the "Mrs Biggs" mini series, but forgot all about it this Wednesday.... Anyway, I have located the episode on the ITV-player so we can watch it from there. However, do I have to watch it on the PC or is there some way I can download it onto a USB stick or DVD-R so that we can watch it on the TV instead? Any good advice would be welcome!! Thanks... Richard:confused1:

Firstly let me apologise for my little outburst last night/this morning but the thread about disabled drivers last night got me a bit hot under the collar. I am sorry if I offended anyone at all, that was not my intention. I would however like to put something straight, a disabled wheelchair user can have a bog standard wheelchair free in most cases from the NHS (really really heavy). However if you require something that is a bit of a specialist wheelchair for the lightness, seating positions, specialst cushions, foldability say for the boot of a Zed etc etc they have to pay for their own. My particular wheelchair cost me (yes I had to pay for it) £3,500, (my Zed di…

Hi all I know your a knowlegeable bunch (well most lol) so looking for some advice. I've been offered two 53 reg transit recovery trucks, five car transporter trailers and ten engine hoists (after I've just brought one!:mad2:) for £3000!! I had to take them as I know I can get more than that back selling them but I was thinking of possibly hiring them out and maybe transporting cars myself as well. What I wanted to know is if there are any tests that the trailers and hoists would have to be subjected to before they can be hired and also what sort of insurances I would need? If it works out then obviously you lot would get discount if I become a trader and i…
