General Discussions - Non 300ZX

As you have not replied to pm's asking about payment (which should have been recieved monday) even though I had reciepts saying you read them :( You have untill tommorow afternoon Saturday 12pm to reply otherwise I will sell them to another member as well as naming and shaming you, so it does not happen to anybody else on here. Hi there, I'm going to be buying a 300zx in the near future and I was just wondering if there is actually a difference in acceleration between the cars of different years. This webpage seems to suggest that the 1993 Twin Turbo model is the quickest doing 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and the 1994 model is almost a second slower doing 0-60 in 6 seconds. This seems to be quite a big difference. So if I wanted the quickest model made, would I be looking at a 1993 Twin Turbo, 2 seater Coupe? Or is there really no difference between the different years? ive got to go to a wedding doo tomorrow night (lots of stella), it starts at 7 pm and im planning on arriving for the doors opening at 6.45 pm lol. "now" i will be getting ready for the doo at about 6 oclock (which usualy includes sh1t shower and a shave and sometimes a couple of stella before i leave) ourlass on the other hand is going to start to get ready in about 5 mins so ive come upstairs with a bag vfull of stella and im getting drunk ive no idea what she is doing that takes nearly 24 hours but im not brave enough to stand in her way lol

Well i've started the bodywork all ready for the revamp over the winter........... Stage 1 Stage 2 Stage 3 Stage 4 Twas done all with my fair hands, with a little help from Daz (madhammster) and a mate! I know there is a small colour difference but it wasnt fully dry in that last pic and hey, its getting it full stripdown and build over the winter so :p Can you tell im proud of myself lmao!! :D

fancied me chances, pulled out behind it after just filling up with Optimax, hit carriageways and he gunned it. I changed lanes and sat on his right side (very) slowly seemed to catch him up and was in the midst of an overtake., when the roundabout loomed into site. Coming up to roundabout - he got into the middle lane, so I being in the right hand turn only lane dropped behind him then switched to left lane so we were both gonna go straight over .. . . dropped it down a gear, and got ready to nail it from the roundabout and. . . . . . He turned round and cut up the right lane and double backed up the carriageway we just come from - I feel cheated :( …

OK After a long decision I decide to spray my car back to black and have a top cost of multi-colour mettalic flake (Glitter) over the top!! :dance: It's the day before it gets started and I am having second thoughts now :( Has anyone else had this done, and if so any pics please :D

As above, how much do you pay for a decent Z in the UK? Here I would have to pay about 20 000€ (~£13500) for a decent one. If I would buy one from Germany (would be like buying a "pig in a bag") It would cost me the cost of the car which would be about 10000€ + customs ~5-7000€. I've seen some posts where you guys have bought Z's for £3.5k, that wouldn’t even be enough for the customs to get it into Finland, that’s sick :rolleyes: Ken

I am building a database in microsoft access at the mo, and i am stuck on something which is really simple, i just cant remember how to do it! I have a query set up, which works. I have set up a form with a textbox, which allows the user to enter the search criteria (in this case it is the name of a country). How do i make a macro/module which will take the text string entered and put it in the country field in the query criteria and then run the query? I can attach buttons to macros/modules but cant remember how to take the text from one text box and insert it into a query, help would be much appreciated as i am *****xed without this !!
