my zed is going to a new home im afraid.. i got me something a bit faster...5.7 LITRE EIDLEBROCK CHEVY ENGINE 420 BHP ok its a replica but i dont care.. its a prova kit car and now i dont have to blow 30k on a torero. so this will do me for a while! i am going to refer the guy to this club, hell i may even pay for his membership , i will still be a member here and will come to the meets, just not in a zed.. however knowing how cursed i am knowing me it will fall through!!

hi guys can i rack some of your brains my father in law has the above car . this problem has happened before to which he paid jag over 1k to fix it. they put it down to the ecu (£700 :shock: ) its now 4 months down the road and the dam thing wont start again..he needs the car to get to and from work so are there any common problems with these cars with regards to not starting as he cannot afford to put it back into jaguar this side of xmas :headvswal thanks in advance gaz

Yes its that time again, I know I missed last month's meet but it was that or two weeks in the sun. No contest. It would be good to really get this thing going as I know there are many cars within a twenty or thirty minute drive. As it is said "It's good to talk" and we have to have these meets so that we can see who we are talking to. All from the same company :confused: First tried just putting in nissan 300zx, non import - only showed 1 car (NA) - £1400 Tried 4 number plates of some random TT imports off autotrader (bearing in mind everyone else has been quoted nearly double for imports) - ranged from £890 - £950 Insurance has always confused me how they work out their prices (random number generator normally) but this is doing my head in, how can I have different prices for basically the same car and how did they come up with NA uk models costing more than import TT's :confused: :headvswal

Hi im Ali from the SE, i've just joined the club and have brought my UK spec 300zx twin turbo manual in black about a month ago. I love it to bits. Thought i could do with your help in what turbo timer i should put in and where to fit it? also which alarm i should get to make it compatible with the turbo timer? thanks

I've seen some post here about people converted their Z's from left hand drive to right hand drive. How much would it cost to convert a right hand drive to a left hand drive? Is it hard to do? Ken

Not the z but my GSI Zafira :mad: right outside my house :mad: :mad: The fire brigade think it was an electrical fault but [i maybe wrong here] the car was parked up at 3.30 yesterday after the school run and it went up at 22.55 last night would/could this be possible!!. Only had the car 6 months paid 16k for it and covered less than 2k in this time,what do you think they would pay out!!!! I have no known enemies but cant get my head around the firebrigades comment. started taking the interior out ready for trimming, gotta clean them up first though as the trimmers dont want dirty crap everywhere!! also found out that the gator round the gearstick is broken.. anyone know where i can get one of them from?? mjp by any chance?

After two and half years of ownership, i only noticed yesturday that the spoiler thats on my dads zed wasnt a stock one. :headvswal (go ahead laugh all u want. so did i) :smash: it had a Greddy sticker on it but then again so did the stock front bumper. Well bought the chevy home last night and trial fitted it with bell-housing and box fitted. Obvious mods needed upto now include having to extend the gear selector on the box as it's way shorter than the auto! :wack: -good job I cut a good length of poopra prop off then! :D The sump needs notching-not a lot, but will give plenty clearance-think I'll buy a new sump and modify that(only £50!)
