trying out some new mapping and rendering sketch software tonight, got the new alias sketchbook pro and studiotools with the auto design package also, its amazing for doing mapped renders to pictures and the results are quick.. two ive done tonight, one for bubbles and the other mujina's ride.. gonna spend a few days on it now see what else i can do from a mapped photo also a screenshot of sketchbook

i didnt really follow the group buy on the HIDS so can sum1 fill me in hif its still going how much and whats the best one all round for normal beam. karl

Think mine is about 12 seconds. I am only asking as IMHO this is the most important time there is. Not how fast to 60 you do mut how fast you can get tehr and stop. I might be off on the 12 seconds as I need someone t time it.

Just got meself a Quadro FX 3d graphics card (for nowt :) ) and as Im not much of a gamer - Im now looking for some games to get. Anyone recommend a really good game that I can get to see what quality is like. I got some old games like unreal tournament etc but want to get some flight/racing/sim games that are new out that have outstanding graphics :) Cheers

My 15yr old "hoodie gangster" nephew is IMO addicted to fruit machines! Anyone any experience of this? He works part time but has now started to borrow off friends etc to feed this habit. This has only just come to light and I understand the usual habit buzz etc but any advice on how to deal with it would be welcome. Smoking in public is going to have a partial ban. Thank god! I can now go out without fear that I'm going to be breathing in noxious gasses and making my clothes stink! Bring it on! But, I'm disappointed because it doesn't go far enough; there will still be plenty of pubs that don't serve food. What we needed (and didn't get) is a total ban on smokin in public places so it would *force* the smokers (and believe me, nicotine addicts really need forcing) to stop. But this pathetic government just couldn't live up to their manifesto. Well, hey-ho, it's a start and a blanket ban on smoking in all public places won't be that far off. :bow:

The first coat of blue flip went on last nite. this will be cut back on Monday & another coat of blue flip........then 2 coats of Dulux GLOSS.. :D

Could here a noise from the rear right wheel, couldnt work out what it was. Drove with it for a few days. Took the wheel of today, in doing so found that the wheel nuts weren't tightened up correctly. :mac1: :headvswal :x: Yup, been working on cars since i was knee high to a grasshopper, still made a fundemental mistake. Looking to get rid of my desktop and screen and go to a laptop in the next week or 2 so would appreciate any feedback or ideas Will need to be a decent spec, mainly use for surfing the web but also for some online gaming and some work as well. Been looking at a few of the Sony ones as i do like them but TBH not too concerned what make, read a few results and the Acers although being a budget brand seem to get pretty good results?
