Can someone explain what a google spider is please. I have noticed that sometimes in the who's online quick links it says the members who are on it says that guests are on but it also says google spider? I may be dim but this has me stumped. Thanks

I have laid my hands on another Golf cheap that has noisey tappets, I seems to remember years ago someone told me that you can use ATF added to the oil then let it run for a bit to flush it. Just want to see if this will quieten them down, if I am right then how much and how long should I leave it in for before I drain and refill?

Right, first off all this is a BT Voyager 105 connecting with AOL, so please no remarks about AOL being crap, or even the Voyager, as that wont help me, thank you. Right, when I built the PC for Karen I used my Windows XP discs with service pack 2, and basically all the same components as my pc is running. Well Karen was on AOL Dial-Up, but has decided to go for Broadband, no problems I think, as that is my set-up. So I come to install the modem, using the installation CD supplied, just the same way as I have with my own. Everything installed as it should have done, but this is where tha problem arose..... Just bought em today. Total cost £117 the pair. Just removed the passenger seat and rails, and due to original leather seats not having rails and being possibly? wider they dont seem to fit :( Gonna get a mate whos good at metalwork to see if he can make me something up.

I just went round the shop to get some vodka and on the way back put the pedal to the metal and she flew. slowed and stopped at a junction pulled away and putt putt. Its still running but like its on 5 pots? Its too dark and cold to get under the bonnet now It'll have to wait until the morning. I just hope its as simple as coil as come off as its happened before. Was driving down to teesside yesterday as had a basketball game in manchester. On the way down there suddenly the revs flew up for a couple of seconds and . . . . . pop, it felt like i'd just shot something out the back :x: the car then seemed back to its normal bad self. then driving slow in middlesbrough pulled up to some traffic lights and oh no, it finally happened (well i think), the car sounded like i was scraping the excaust or something along the floor. When i got back last night i had to limp home up the a19 (a 70 mph dual carraigeway) at around 40 - 45 all the way, i don't think ive gone so slow for so long before. once car gets into 2nd…

I went out on the town last night. I totally disagree with how my partner has been dealt with on this forum. He may have stepped the line sometimes but from what he has shown me he is not the only one. OK so we mostly all love our 300ZX. I was thinking that if you had to redesign an updated model for the British market what parts from other cars would you use to make the car a whole lot better. Now I dont want any argueing as this is a "TOTALLY YOUR OPINION" thread. anything goes interior exterior engine just about anything? I would re-design the front end and head lights. Maybe use the front end from a RX8 or even a DB9. Rear end would deffo be 350Z.

Well, the family are completely fed up of the Zed not being finished and all have agreed to help chip in to get it back on the road this Xmas, after all, its all I need. Well, done to the point that its back on the road with the bits I want, not the complete project, that can wait.... So, what can I ask for? Ever since I bought the car, 99spec rear lights and panel were on the very top of the list. I partook in Smithy's group buy and midweek, I decided to fit them. The difference it made is amazing. Compared to horrible amber standard lights. Really chuffed to bits with it. Looks better in the flesh, but here's a few before and after pics. :) Found 5 mins of non-rain and pulled it out of the garage. :) Need to get a black tailgate panel now and do away with that scarlet coloured one....which I broke today anyway. :(

I have here a DVD, fully paid for, original, cost an arm and a leg. Now I would like to make a backup of this DVD film on my hard drive. I have some software called shrink DVD but it takes 2 hours for 1 hour of film and the overall filze size (compresed - aparently) is just under 4GB :( That is a) too slow and b) not compressed! Can anyone recommend some software which would do this quickly? I have a P4 2GHz processor and 512MB RAM, surely this time can be improved upon? Free software would be nice but i can pay (find a serial number ;)) if necessary :D Thanks
