Hi, My profile has gone wrong. My user status is set to 'professional newbie' which I didn't change it to and my signature has vanished? Any idea what's happened? Thanks Simon

When performing a search on my mobile (the only device I use for the forum) using forum runner. After entering a keyword and clicking search, its seems to search for a while and then comes up with an error message saying something like "the server has sent an unknown response, this could be due to outdated something or a conflict of some sort." I also get the same error message when trying to edit a post. This has been happening for a while now. Us it my phone, the app or something your end? Thanks.

Just thought I'd see what Admin et al thought about this: We all know that most of the tech guides over on the US sites are missing pics etc and are a nightmare to follow because of that. Lately I've seen a number of people posting up threads asking for DIY guides. Those guides have been covered on the US sites, but as I say the pics rarely work. Would it be worth badgering the members to start making up some new How To guides? For everything for the most basic (changing pads) through to the bigger jobs that members undertake. Having the resource here would surely be a good thing? The current FAQ/Guides section is quite untidy with some Guides being in …

Not so much a forum issue, just me been a bit slow :confused1:

Not so much a problem or issue but just wondering why the garage was changed? Where can I find the details of what has been done to the car (where that detail has been uploaded)? I recall it used to be very easy to find a member and link through to their garage where you could find not only pics but any details they'd included of what they'd done to the car. It seems to be quite convoluted now to find a member then click separately into garages and search for them and then not to find details of what has been done to their car.

When I click on this link in my notifications (pic1) I get a database error (pic2) and can't clear the notification Rich hmmm oK the pics displayed in the opposite order to which I uploaded them - is that another bug? Then I edit my post to mention that and the pics switched order again!!!! WTF

I have an issue when selecting the unread posts button. It will tell me that I have x amount of unread posts and as I plough through them they disappear (as they're no longer unread posts), however, when I have a few unread posts, say 20+, I get to a point where there are no more unread posts in the list but it's says there are still more at the top. If I drag down to refresh, all the original unread posts reappear (which is a pain in itself!), but as I scroll through them again it still doesn't load them all but I would see maybe 1 or 2 more. Earlier I continued to do this 3 times until eventually it listed 5 unread posts in the top header but in the posts section i…

As above, when using the advanced search the edit boxes are displaced and some you cannot enter and field in to them so search comes up invalid....been like it a couple of weeks was seeing if anyone else got the same prob? Jeff TT

Lee, When i try to access the recent posts via the comments button i get an error telling me that the server returned an unknown response. Just started happening today.

Its been reported that the garage system has a fault, Not sure if there is some sort of conflict with the new mods that were made over the last day or so. i'll look into this tonight as i'm currently suppose to be at work rather than browsing these forums, lol. whats the deal with the forum search. Ever since the Upgrade several months ago it no longer works properly. Im wondering if its only me, since I have bought the subject up several times but not seen others complaining. The search is surely one of the most used features on the site and I cant get any results newer than 2008.
