Broken camshaft
Thx Stephen. Little more faultfinding today. By dismanteling the Intake plenum water was running out of this. It was water from the water/metanol injection. I think the one way valve is leaking a lot. Maybe the water was running in cylinders 5 and 6 on acceleration and has blocked the engine. I have checked the camshaft and the lifters. All looks fine. I have also checked the cylinders inside and the valves and the clutch housing with a snake cam. No fault to see. Tomorrow i will measure the piston height on all cylinders and mount all parts again. Hopefully the engine is running smooth again after that.

Dont think so, because engine is running but only on 5 cylinders.

Hello Anyone heard of a broken camshaft on vg30dett? Mine is running on only 5 cylinders after a big bang. The engine was blokked a short time. Checked compression and it looks not so bad. Not bad noises now. Before i take the valve covers i will ask here. Thx a lot.

Thx Jeff I think the water sensor is working correctly because the temperature showing in Conzult is very stable. Or is it the little second sensor? Don't have any electrical fan because dismantled air con. The wiring harness is also new.

Hello guys. I have some problems with my engine. It is fully overhault and convertet from auto to manual. I'am using the auto ECU. Pin number 44 is grounded. If engine is cold i get start on it at once. It warms up as normal. But when i stop the engine on round about 70degrees i can't start it anymore. If i force the coolant temperatur down to round about 20 degrees in Conzult it will start again but runs very lumpy. Have testet to raise the temperature degree by degree. The engine stalls right after raising to degrees. TPS is on .44volt. Fireing is on 15degree. Idle control is already changed from another running engine. On conzult its showing the right coolant temperatur. Hopefully someone can help me. Thx a lot.

CMPS/rpm: 850 RPM MAS AIR/FL. 1.16 V AIR FLOW. 8 CFM THRTL POS. 0.44 V IACV-AAC/V. 20% COLLANT TEMP. 80 FUEL TEMP. 23 IGN TIMING. 15 BTDC BATTERY. 13.74 VHCL SPEED. 0 KM/H O2 SEN-L. 0.04 TO 0.46 V O2 SEN-R. 0.04 A/F ALPHA. 94% M/R F/C MNT-L. LEAN M/R F/C MNT-L. RICH INJ PULSE. 1,53 M/S INJ DUTY. 1.08% I'am struggeling abort the O2 SEN-L. Its variating very. quick between 0.04 and 0.46. Hopefully get some help.

Hello everybody. Is there anyone who can tell me what meassaments i should have in Conzult if engine is warm and its running on idle? I am interessted in all meassaments. I will try to adjust the engine as well as possible. I have deleted all parts that are possible to delete. Sorry for my bad english.

Yes, using the Selin. Will also use the BOV`s as recirc BOV`s. I take this ones because they are adjustable.

I bought that engine as a 1998 modell year. I'am not sure its right, because the old PTU was mounted.

Hello all. I'am planing to change my engine and at same time a tranny con. What is the best way to do it? If possible i will change both at once. It means the tranny should be mounted to the engine. Is it space and clearance enough on the Z? Thx a lot.
