Hoorah - a Reading Jap meet on one of my rare Tuesday nights off !! Will get the car cleaned and weather permitting I'll be there this time hope to see a row of at least 10 300's this time ....

and yet again I'm stuck at work that night !! Damn

9 zeds in a row - damn - wish I'd made it 10 Had the gas board digging up my garden all day - no boiler - no hot water - an upset and ill wife and in-law grief Would have much rather been number 10 in a zed line-up anyday maybe next month

Had a few problems at home and didn't get to go out at all - it was a foul night anyway - did anybody end up going ? How many 300's turned up ? Maybe next month the sun will shine and I'll hopefully have the night off again Can't make Japfest this weekend either which is a pain - never mind cheers all Ian

White 300 on Basingstoke Road is probably Andy - RAT 300 Something or other plate - saw him recently in Morrisons Car park - lives up near my mum off Basingstoke Road ! Come along on Tuesday 15th to the Meet down by the Madjeski stadium I'm definitely going and will try and get hold of a couple of other local 300 owners as well - maybe Paul from around Lower Earley if I see him before then I'll be in my 91 Jap Import NA - Grey with light grey leather interior maybe see you there cheers Ian / funkjunky

Hoorah Not working that night I'm coming out to play !!!

There used to be 2 others around Woodley - my part of Reading - I still see one guy - Paul I think he said his name was - he stopped for a chat last time we came head to head over Lower Earley way - he drives a Graphite grey like mine - the other one was a blue TT parked up in a back road in Woodley for ages and never seemed to move - now it's gone so guess they either moved house or sold the car ...

Friend of mine says she spotted 3 different 300 Zeds in and around Reading this weekend - none of them were me coz I'm stuck at work in Bracknell and my 300 is in the works multi-storey !! Says she saw one white - one grey like mine - and - wait for it ..... One Orangey Salmony Pinkish colour ! - ewwh - surely not - on a 300 ZX ?? !!

Hey - I'm back - at last - couldn't make the meet tonight as stuck at work (again) - but need to earn the pennies to pay for this lot ... All work finally finished - only taken me since January to get the parts - time and cash together .. New Exhaust (Mongoose) - 4 new tyres - completely replaced suspension bushes throughout (Bust Poly kit from US) - new brake pipes and lines throughout (Goodridge kit) - new Anti Roll bar link assemblies - new brake pads front and back The Goodridge Brake lines were far too long for the rear so I got Stainless pipes made up to order by a local Pipe Fabrication specialist - who then stung me £80 for the privilidge ! My mechanic has vowed never to do another Suspension bush replacement on a 300 ever again - took him hours and hours - had to drop the whole rear suspension and diff assembly out - took 4 of us to lift it down onto the supports ! - gave me a lovely bill at the end of the work as well ..!! Then the £180 odd Tax - £50 for the MOT (passed - no warnings at all !!) - Innsurance renewal etc etc So - when I can afford to fill her up with Petrol sometime soon I hope to be able to make it to a local meet in the next month or so ! But at least she's back on the road ! All the best Ian

Damn and blast ! Usually can't make it coz of work commitments This time I'm not working but the car is off the road for brake and suspension work May still come down for a wander around and a chat and just park the 4 x 4 out of the way somewhere

Network Support - 12 hour nightshift (again) - just me and a load of PC / Terminals and a wall screen to monitor - crap free coffee and loads of junk food - DVD's and CD's in the background and the occasional wave from the security guard - Bah Humbug etc etc - Same again tomorrow night I'm afraid - but have Xmas and Boxing day at home this year ...
